i have a MH issue but even in my extrme behaviour time i didnt disturb my neighbours---if he is ill he should have a care worker who steers him about his behaviour -there has to be some self responsibility for behaviour or i will just gone barmy and rob a bank!!!

You aren't the only one who has been uncomfortable with the tone of discussion, but as always, its difficult to express an opinion on some issues without it being interpreted as some sort of personal attack. We all have different views, otherwise the world would be a very different place, and none is right or wrong.

its funny when i am totally manic i know what is right and wrong! its only when i get to the point of admission that i loose the contact with reality!--if he is off his head and being a nuisance to society his place in society needs to be assessed--of course he knows what he is doing over such a long period of time!--i have been exposed to some real extreme cases and have seen it all from the other side!

Having followed the Idiot Boy saga from the outset - it is certainly my impression that his disruptive behaviour is down purely and simply to immaturity and selfishness and no other "underlying" reason as far as can be seen. Having seen a friend of mine driven from laid-back state to distraction in a matter of just a few weeks by noise that he knew was only temporary - I can well sympathise with how this would drive many people to such distraction.

As De'Lamo said - it IS down to personal responsibility and I was glad to hear his take on this.

If people reach out for sympathy/understanding or say things they may not say if they hadnt had the last 10 months of sleepless nights - then it is understandable and I can sympathise. It is hard sometimes to stay calm/logical/watching every sentiment one utters if there have been months worth of sleepless nights and worry as to how long it will be before a situation is over and done with.

I dont think any of us could absolutely guarantee that we would behave absolutely "immaculately"/discreetly/etc/etc if we had suffered sleepless nights courtesy of someone else for that long and had no idea how much longer it was going to continue...

WCS you aren't the only one - I haven't commented on any 'IB' posts previously for that specific reason but preferred to hold my peace to avoid a 'though' thread going awry again - so shall say no more other than to reassure you you aren't a lone voice

As a MH sufferer during my periods of illness i am liable to take punishment for all my actions during bad times--if idiot boy has a tenancy agreement to behave he must be dealt with in the same way as the rest of society--all the mh suffers would be shooting their shrinks otherwise!!--if he is ill then, like i said his careworker should be taking action--(even the fact he doesnt seem to sleep is enough to raise alert to high risk)--its good to be back btw!!

i am off the booze and on diet so i am feeling energetic and good!-DH is well too--its 9pm and she isnt home from work yet!-i am back at the gym as my days are getting quieter.

Well, following the remortgage I have now decided to get myself in shape. I used to be a total gym bunny (I was even told once to audition for Gladiators?!?!) but over the last couple of years have turned into a bit of a Fat Knacker myself! Working two jobs means that I just grab crisps or something equally bad before dashing out. Now I have cut my hours back and have joined the gym. This is week two and I am determined to get back in shape. I am not really big now (size 12) but for me I am. Also I dont like wobbly bits and anyone who says it comes with age is going to get it! :p:rotfl:

The garden has much already sown and I am hoping to get the rest in this weekend.

And to top it all off I have decided to sit two exams in June. Now just where can I find a 30 hour day please??

Another week and Lyme Regis here I come!! I cannot wait and I hope the tent is still in one piece. Will check it over this weekend.
