kezlou I wonder how long the huge tub of powder I just got from costco would last you..it says 400 washes on the side:eek::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:!
I shouldn't need to buy anymore for at least a year anyway;)

Ive seen those big tubs at Costco. Can you recommend the powder. Seems a good deal but only if the clothes get clean !

on a flying visit while the girls in the pub talk about cleaning :eek:

    Hiya all

I have the Costco tubs and they clean just fine :) cant see any difference between the results with it compared to the Ariel/Persil rip off stuff I bought for years. Smells nice too
I use about a quarter of a scoop and at this rate it will last a good year or more

Kirkland (costco brand name) is always good stuff imo - their kitchen wipes are gorgeous although not very OS I know

Right best get back to the pub before they start talking about tomatoes:rotfl:

i just started a big fight on another discussion thread about the continual sniping that goes on in this place--its good to stir up the natives--and hey ho what i have got to loose-another volley of spitefull mornic carp!

Its best if you want to fight is keep it on the other thread, dont bring it here , cos its so nice here and we dont want the hazzle.........everyone is very helpful of everyone on here its got such a friendly thread thats why we all retire here when weve got a few mins to spare..........or a few money saving offers to share , and maybe a problem or two that needs some friendly advise................its certaintly gave me some good solid advise in the last week..............lets not have any bickering , if you dont want to include yourself in the conversation then just give it a miss...........

Bertiebots - I second GreyQueen's advice to ask for paint on Freegle/Freecycle. I arrived in my flat to find lots of half pots of paint which weren't the colours on the wall, so they went to live with someone else. I expect lots of people have half pots tucked away.

Just had to pop in quickly and thank ChocClare for her recipe, bunged it in the oven, took seconds, and kids thought it was fabulous and have requested it appear as a regular! Many many thanks - esp since 2 of mine aren't overkeen on Chinese flavours, they both thought it was delish though!

Hubby has spent the day in the garden, planted all the 1st early & 2nd early potatoes, the onions & carrots are peeping through & the shed, study & back bedroom are still full of things waiting to be planted!

VERY heavy snow here, just as my little narcissi are flowering in the window boxes.
Can you get ahead with indoor jobs Mardatha? sow some seeds in a warm room and and get your spuds chitting. :)
