Oh my God, what nasty, horrible people! Don't ever think you need to prove yourself to people like them, they aren't worth the time or energy.
ZTD - nail on the head as usual!
Well done on all the MS jobs
I know Beccie, they are horrible. I think they are the type of people who like moaning and being miserable.

Quieter day today. Only 3 mystery shops which I did this morning and am writing the last one up now. I've then got an online MS survey to do and that's it for the day. Going to put my feet up and watch a film tonight.
Took my niece bowling this afternoon to give my sister a break (she only has school in the mornings for the first few months). The bumpers were broken so I lost. My niece got a strike!!
Got another 2 MS jobs lined up tomorrow and another on Friday, but that's it for a bit. Need to get some more coming in but they are thin on the ground at the moment.

You don't need them! Have confidence..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

I don't usually have them, but we do when my niece plays. I'm pretty rubbish at bowling anyway, not enough strength to bowl the ball with enough power.
You don't need power. A lass I know barely used to push the ball, and its journey to the far end could be measured on a calender - but she was accurate and got pretty decent scores.
Of course I use the second biggest ball and fling it hard. The pins may close their eyes and grab onto each other for support (and that's just in the adjacent lanes) - but that isn't necessarily the best way of doing it..."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)

Got another two MS jobs for Monday and one for Thursday. Might swap my 2 for tomorrow to Thursday too. Meeting my friend for lunch on Thursday and she is in the same area, so makes more sense to save petrol.
Can concentrate on getting some questions done tomorrow instead now.

I have come to the conclusion that mystery shopping is all very well when you have spare money for the purchases and extra petrol, but unfortunately I don't. So mystery shopping will have to stop for a bit.
I've got £50 to last me until payday, which is in just under 3 weeks. Before then, I've got my sister's birthday and my mum and dad's anniversary. Fortunately, I've already got my sister's presents and card, so the only expense there could be wrapping paper (if I don't have any at home) and maybe a meal out (not certain if this is happening, will only be £7-8 for me if it does). For my mum and dad's anniversary, we always get my mum a bunch of flowers, so the most it will cost me is £5, maybe less.
So my challenge for the rest of September and beginning of October is going to be 'spend as little as possible'.

Okay, no money spent yesterday and the only guaranteed way of not spending any today? Yep, I'm becoming a hermit and staying in all day. OH isn't around so I have the flat to myself.
Will keep myself busy with work most of the day and then X Factor is on tonight and the gorgeous Hugh Jackman is on the Jonathan Ross show too :happyhear.
I found some wrapping paper last night. It was some I got for my niece, so it's a little childish, but it is pink and has happy birthday on it, so I doubt she'll mind. It only ends up in the bin after all.

Okay, the only way I am ever going to get out of my current situation and be able to construct a proper budget is to work my backside off for the rest of the year.
If I can just get myself straight with my bills and pay back my mum, then I can stick to a certain amount of work each month and have a proper budget to start 2012. It's the only way to get myself on an even keel.
The Wii and Wii Fit are going to wait, my sister has even said that she might club together with my mum and get them for me for Christmas (or at least a Wii). My Amazon vouchers will now go towards Christmas presents. I reckon I could easily get together around £200 by Christmas.

(and don't worry, I know my limitations and won't make myself ill).

Glad you added that bit about not making yourself ill!
Got the bonus BTW.
