OH has come home moaning about his boss and his job tonight. Makes me appreciate the fact that I am my own boss and don't have to worry about that rubbish anymore.

    :D

Went to OH's parent's yesterday - under duress. At least it was only for the day and I didn't have to stay overnight. Nothing major to report though - they didn't have enough time to make any snide remarks.

Claimed a £5 voucher from BP last night. I'm trying to save for my sister's iPod Shuffle as that's the most expensive thing to buy. Only £40 to go for that. Going to put 100 songs on it too.

Got my Clubcard vouchers through - £12.50. I'm going to double one £5 voucher to £10 for a toy for my nephew and the other £5 into a £10 voucher for clothes and will get him a little outfit too.

Excuse me whilst I have a little rant over medical care in this country.

I put in for some medication on Tuesday last week and was told it would be ready Friday. Went to collect it today and only 1 of the 3 items I wanted had even been requested. One of them is Creon, which is the medication that digests my food. That's quite important for me as if I don't have that, I basically can't eat anything. Luckily I always request my medication before I run drastically low, as I know how crap my doctors/chemist can be.

Secondly, I called my hospital last week and asked them to fax a prescription request to my GP for some more hypertonic saline as they hadn't given me enough to last me until the 25th, when I have to go back to the hospital. At first they expected me to drive all the way to Southampton (about a 1h 20m round-trip) just to pick up the saline. My GP has received nothing.. How can healthcare establishments be run like this? It's mine and other people's health - it's really really important!!

Rant over - need to call the hospital now to see what they are playing at.

And breathe - the hospital said they did fax it to my GP. Guess it's my GP that's crap then. They are going to re-fax it today.

I went to Tesco this morning to swap my Clubcard vouchers. I decided to swap the whole £10 for clothes vouchers so I could get Kian a couple of outfits and then get him a toy from Amazon too. My local Tesco had nothing clothes-wise. Why is it that I can always find lovely baby clothes when I have no money, but when I can actually buy them, they are all rubbish?

Hmm, feeling a bit tired and run-down today. I'm hoping it's just because it's that time of the month and not because I'm coming down with something. Anyway, I am having a restful day - just in case.

Might watch a film tonight and curl up on the sofa :).
