I didn't know either Lou. It helps to break up the phlegm on my lungs so that I can cough it up more easily and therefore make my lungs clearer.

The beneficial effects are these.

But inhaling salt-water does make you cough (and I presume clears you out). I first heard about that when this idiocy first came to light.

I've had 3 doses of the saline treatment now, and I have to say I do feel better for it. We went to the library this afternoon and parked a little way away from it so it would be free, and I didn't get that out of breath. Hopefully after a month on it, my lung function will be amazing (for me anyway).

NSD so far today, but I think we need some bread and other bits. I got a few freebies in the post today, but not much else to report.

My back is absolutely killing me today. Haven't a clue what I have done to it. I had a bone density scan done on Tuesday and the woman got me to lie in all weird positions, so I guess that didn't help.

Quite chilly this morning. OH is away tonight so I am going to get all cosy on the sofa in my PJs and fluffy dressing gown. Should be an NSD too

Just redeemed for a £5 Amazon voucher :T. I've also done enough surveys on another site to redeem for a £10 one, just need to wait for them to clear. So with the vouchers I have, am waiting to receive and waiting to clear, I am up to £65 for Christmas presents

I officially take back anything bad that I ever said about the nebuliser. Okay, it is a pain in the backside to do, but I feel better than I have done for a long time.

I had to post some stuff today and instead of parking right near the post office, I parked at my mum's and walked there. It's only a 10 minute walk there and back, but I wasn't that out of breath and didn't have a 5 minute coughing fit when I got back.

I didn't realise how bad I felt before. I feel lighter, like my lungs were weighing me down, and now they are clearer.

Anyway, I've had NSDs yesterday and today. Need to get to sleep in a bit as I'm going for my flu jab at 8.30am tomorrow morning and need to get up at 7am to do the nebuliser before I leave. Taking my mum with me as well so she can get her's done too.

Flu jab all done and just come back from town. I only spent 58p on a couple of birthday cards for next month. I glanced at the Christmas cards, but that can wait until next month.

OH has said he will buy us fish and chips for lunch

Not much else on today except getting a bit of work done.
