    Hey everyone

Back at my mum's again, just taking a break from the questions.

I hate not having internet at home and now BT have sent me an 'interim' bill which has added another £50 onto what I did have to pay . Ok, I know it's my fault that I didn't pay the bill, but talk about kicking a girl when she's down!!

I spent last night at home reading. Finished a brilliant book called Save Karyn, about a woman in New York who got into $20k worth of debt and created a website asking people to help her pay it off. It was a really good book and just made me want to clear my debt even more.

I really need to cut right back, and get my frivolous OH on board too. I've got a mobile broadband thing that I used before my mum got broadband here, and I used it when I was at work, but I haven't used it in months (it doesn't work at my flat, the signal is shocking). That costs me £15 a month, so when my OH gets back I will get him to cancel that (it's in his name).

Also, when I have paid my bill, I am going to ring BT and see if I am on the best calling plan for me. I've also got Choose to Refuse and the anonymous caller reject thing on there so they can go. I also pay for a contract phone for my mum (least I can do seeing as she feeds me most days!) which costs me £25 a month so I will call them (when I get my phone back) to ask if I can downgrade it.

We still need a bed, but I have seen one on Amazon for £200. I reckon I could save enough vouchers in a few months so that we can get it free.

Going to have a think tonight about other ways I/we can save. I'm on a mission :D

    Hey everyone

I hope you are all having a good weekend. I have been at my mum's all day and have just done my 100 questions :T. Got 100 done yesterday, and I am keeping my percentages to what they should be so I won't get told off ;). I think I have found my middle ground - 100 questions a day is still enough to pay everything, but it is easily manageable.

I had a card left from the postie yesterday saying that I have 2 parcels which wouldn't fit through the letterbox. Really curious as to what they are. If my OH has ordered something in my name, I will not be happy!! I can't justify going into town just to pick them up, so I am having them redelivered on Thursday.

I get paid on Wednesday so will get my internet back :D. I won another £10 on Jackpot Joy this morning, so that is £20 on the free game this week alone - kind of makes up for the £8 extra I could have had but gambled away. See, I learnt my lesson!!

Need to do a bit of tidying up when I get home. I always seem to let the place get in a mess when I am on my own.

    Take care everyone

Yay - got my internet back!! Although, I am at my mum's at the moment as I dropped my niece into pre-school.

I got paid today and I am already down to a couple of hundred after paying the bills. I get my OH's share a week on Friday when he gets paid.

So, my new money saving ways are going well. Today I have already claimed £1.50 extra credit on my mobile. Tonight I am going to call BT and cancel those extra features I don't need and see if I am on the best calling plan. I am also going to call O2 and see if I can downgrade the tariff on my mum's phone.

I have kept up with my 100 questions a day and tonight I plan on getting started on some competitions.

    Will be back later.

Thanks for saying that Elantan, but I really don't see it. I haven't cleared much debt for years now and think that I'm a bit rubbish at it. I was good at it when I first joined (about 5 years ago). I remember that I cleared 3 debts in around 6 months, but since then all I have cleared is my Barclaycard, which was only £380.

Need to pull my socks up ;)

    Hi everyone

Beautiful day today. Feels like summer :D

Saved another £10 a month today by cancelling my £20 Vision Express contact lenses and going back to my £10 internet brand.

Also finally booked in to see the dentist. I am petrified of them and haven't been to one in a while due to the last one I saw being horrible and actually shouting at me because I was so nervous. So I am seeing one that is about an hour away from me, but specialises in nervous patients. It is private so will cost me about £100 just for the first check up, but I figure it will be worth it if I can get my teeth sorted. They aren't terrible but they are getting there and I am starting to get self-conscious about them. I'm going on the 9th May, just after payday so that I will have the money.

OH and I have decided to get the £200 bed from Amazon. Therefore I need to get cracking and get those vouchers coming in. I already have £40, so I am hoping to get the rest lined up in a couple of months.

I waited in for the postman until 1pm to deliver those packages, but I didn't want to sit in all day on such a beautiful day so I had to go out. I left a note on my door asking him to leave them outside as they don't need signing for. Fingers crossed!!
