I went to the hospital today and all is well there. My weight has rocketed to 8st 10lbs. I don't think I have ever weighed that much in my life.
Good news on the health, but dear me, you must be light. I think one of my legs weighs about that much.

Hi Emz
How goes it? Back from birthday celebrations. DH took me to River Cottage, was fantastic and then saw the family which was great. Back to work now though.
Glad to hear that you finally saw Avatar. I know what you mean about it not being bad. Although its a long film, it doesn't really feel like it. I think I have seen it about 3 or 4 times, not on purpose just on @ the in laws. Wouldn't recommend that. No film watching for me so far. Though two DVDs arrived from Lovefilm: The Unforgiven and The Reader. Using Lovefilm to catch up on the films I should see
I hope you are making good progress with your answers. You have set yourself a difficult target, so try not to get too down.

Hi Rock Cakes
Happy belated birthday to you. I'm glad you had a good time.
I will report on my question progress shortly.
Don't think I could sit through Avatar that many times. I haven't seen The Unforgiven but The Reader is really good. I am doing a bit of a catch up on my films too. I watched The Bourne Supremacy yesterday and have got the Bourne Ultimatum on planner for Sunday ( I saw The Bourne Identity ages ago). They are ok films, just a bit too action orientated for me.

Bit later than planned, but anyway........
I am resigned to the fact that I won't get £1,500 this month. I have done some calculations and dropped my target to £1,200. I currently have £500 so that is £50 a day I need to earn by the end of the month. £50 is roughly 167 questions.
I have also listed 10 items on eBay which I really need to get at least £50. They finish on Sunday and are currently at £5.
Been watching Chris Moyles & Comedy Dave on the red button quite a bit today. Amazing what they are doing. It's quite addictive TV to be honest!!

Hi everyone
Thought it was time for an update.
The questions.....they aren't going well. I'm just going to do what I can before the end of the month and will let you all know how I do at the beginning of April. The main thing is that I have enough to pay my bills next month.
Anyway, I am skint. I have just over £5 in my purse and £5 in the bank. I have 38 miles in my tank which I wanted to try to make last until Monday but it's unlikely. Thankfully OH is away tonight so I don't have to drive into town to pick him up from the station.
I will have some money by Wednesday and I won just over a tenner on Jackpot Joy this morning (freebie game) which will hopefully be in my account by Tuesday.
I sold some stuff on eBay, but it only got £30, not the £50 I hoped for. That is why there is a shortfall in my cash. I paid a few things today, £40 off my Credit Security debt, £10 off my sofa (on my mum's credit card) and £20 off my Moorcroft debt.
I know what you are thinking, if she is skint why is she paying off some debts, but they had to be paid.
I did get a £15 Amazon voucher the other day for doing an online discussion group, so I have £40 on Amazon at the moment.
OH is going away on Wednesday next week to Spain for a week. He is helping his mate decorate his villa out there. It's a free holiday for him and he only had to pay for a £50 flight. It will be good for him to get away and relax for a week. Give me a bit of a break too.
Think that is all I have to update at the moment. Will add more later if I think of anything else.

Ems~I do worry about you
I'm fine Lou honestly. I may say I am skint, but I do have food in and I know that if I needed anything before I get paid then my OH would lend me the money. Also, I think that if I hadn't paid that money off those debts, then I would have wasted the money on something that I didn't need anyway.
Thank you for caring though :A

hey emz just catching up ... i know plenty of people are going to tell you to slow down ... i would join in but i know that you have plenty of people here moaning ( and quite rightly so) so one more aint gonna make much of a difference
ok so how realistic are your targets for this month? how about next month ... you know your health situation ... you know what you are capable of and you know that if you push yourself too hard exactly what will happen ... so with all this knowledge a) what is realistic for you b) how can we help ?
wishing you all the best
on the film front ... watched sanctum the other night great cinematography story typical acting same ... but worth a watch if you have nothing else on0 -

Thanks Elantan. I really don't push myself that hard though honestly. My health is so much better than it was compared to a year ago when I finished work. Since then, I have put on nearly a stone in weight and my lung function is better than it was 4 years ago. Also, I haven't had any IVs in nearly 2 years, which for someone with CF who is nearly 30 (:(), it's amazing. (touch wood that I don't have to have them after saying that!!).
On the work front for next month, I think I am going to stick to 100 questions a day which is £900. Yes, £1,500 would be amazing, but I think by pushing myself at the beginning of this month, I kind of wiped myself out. I think by doing manageable amounts every day will stop myself from going mad and give me some 'me' time too.
100 a day is totally manageable for me and is an amount that I can easily get done during the day, so I have the evening free and vice versa if I have something to do during the day and not the evening.
I reckon that I will end up with £900 by the end of this month which is fine. With my OH's contribution, I only pay £400 for my rent and bills. I can live off my DLA which is £70 a week (food and petrol) so I will still have £500 for my debts and other expenses. I pay £250 a month off my debts currently, but I could always try to save what is left over from the £500 spare so I could pay some debts off in full eventually.
I would also like to get into entering competitions again as I used to win quite a bit and you never know, I could win enough to pay off one of my debts.
What can you do to help? Just keep reading and posting as it really spurs me on. Also, if I don't post for a few days, give me a shout out as it kicks me back into action
.
Emz xx
(I didn't really fancy watching Sanctum. It seemed like a boring premise for a film, but I might give it a chance when it comes on Sky. I am watching Australia at the moment - I love Hugh Jackman, he is the epitome of a real man).0
