Indicating and roundabouts.......what's your policy?

                                  in Motoring

It seems to me that the (motoring) world is split into 3 groups:
1. Those people who never use indicators when approaching or when exiting a roundabout.
2. Those people who use their indicators to signal their (perhaps vague) intentions.
3. Those people who use their indicators wrongly.....almost as though they are intent on causing as much danger and confusion as possible.
There may be other groups or sub-sets of the main groups that I haven't thought of.....any ideas?

So no one does it correctly?0

Only indicate if it is going to be of benefit to another road user (includes cyclists/pedestrians).0

I hate people who take the left hand lane then indicate right.... I never know what the hell they're doing and you get that awkward "am I about to get cut up?" moment.
I hate people who fail to indicate when they're in a lane that could go any of 2 or more directions.... I could have pulled out if i'd known they were going straight on!
I indicate if necessary.... I mean seriously if im in a lane which can only go to one exit, then why the hell do I need to indicate? It's just more pointless flashing lights for people to look at instead of the road.
It's akin to indicating right when your sat in a right hand only turn lane.....
Do you indicate to go round a bend in the road? Maybe some people do lol
If it is necessary then i'll do it by the book... So if im taking a right, you'll get a right hand signal then a left hand breakaway signal as I exit.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

All of it.
I have a fair idea, but it's been a ''wee while'' since I sat my test if you know what I mean.

So you've forgotten.
That's if you ever knew in the first place, why not have a read of the Highway Code and brush up on this and seatbelts?0 -
I always indicate its a very good habit to get into, I find the excersize does me good and that the extra cost for indicator bulbs is minimal.0

I'm not too into this 'letter of the law' stuff.....I'm pretty sure I indicate in a safe and correct way.0 -
