Indicating and roundabouts.......what's your policy?

I always indicate, I even indicated when I was driving at 2am in the morning and I was the only one on the rood, it was out of habit.
What really !!!!es me off with roundabouts is when drivers take the second exit, instead of staying on the outside, they drive straight across. I got cup by a driver doing this.
Which is absolutely fine to do if you are not interfering with any other driver. IMO it's stupid not to do that when you are not going to affect any other driver.0 -
I don't see why we would laugh at Strider, if he video'd someone indicating left to go around a lefthand corner in the road?
Because he'll probably actually video someone indicating to turn left into a junction or something and/or his hilarious reaction to the incident by shouting/use of horn / etc and his description of them on here as the worst driver ever.0 -

Yes, there is a need actually!! It frustrates me no end to sit waiting to pull out onto a roundabout when the car coming round from the right leaves at the exit before mine without indicating!!“You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time, but you can never please all of the people all of the time.”0 -
I suppose that would be in line with his reputation on his videos so far. I guess I always take what people are saying at face value, even Strider.0

It really does depend on the size of the roundabout, but larger RBt tend to be 'laned' so there would be no need for indicator there either.0 -
"Now days though you get people who are in the left lane who indicate right" That can't be right, it doesn't agree with the highway code.
I will only do this on rare occasions - primarily if, on a multi-lane approach, the first exit has two lanes and the left lane on the approach is marked for left and straight ahead. This is to try to ensure that the person to my right doesn't try to take the second lane of the exit (even though they are in the wrong lane for it), assuming I am turning left. Having said that it didn't stop someone driving into me in Hereford (Tesco roundabout) a few months ago.
Otherwise, I indicate left on the approach if taking the first exit, left when I exit if going straight on, further round it's right on approach then left before my exit.0 -
There was one occasion when I was turning right on a roundabout in the inner lane, and a driver proceeded to pull out in front of me on the inside. That's bad enough, but once on the roundabout he then decides to indicate right, cutting right across me when we both reached my turnoff.
I was driving an old banger at the time. I was sooooooo tempted to "not manage to" stop!0
