thankyou for asking Halight - his gastric problems seem ok at the moment but he is giving us a lot of stress for other reasons:mad:. He is back with his ex partner and without going into detail when they are together their lives seem to be one big drama which causes DH and me sleepless nights.
He is selfish and only seems to want us when he needs something.
Halight - I think I need some of your funny posts to cheer me up;)
My pizza - made with Aldi's pizza base mix was delicious, I made a nice tomato base and put some griddled veggies on top and a bit of cheese. Some spicy HM wedges went down nicely with it.:)
Im glad that your tests were ok, Also that your son is wellish at the moment,
As for Fun posts? Well i think im all out at the moment. Maybe tomorrow, sorry:):jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -

Sales pitch started off with being told they are the most expensive window company in the area but miraculously during the course of the pitch it transpires they have fitters being held up on another job who would be free to fit out windows. As long as we signed on the dotted line there and then. I got arsey with him because he wouldn't supply a written quote (even had the cheek to use our bl00dy phone to ring his manager ) and he couldn't understand why I wanted one. Needless to say I was 20 and not as gobby as I am now so he's lucky he saw me back then.
We are uming and ahing about getting a conservatory and TBH I am dreading the pressue selling tactics although perhaps I should use it as an opportunity to putting my caged rage to good use
Forgive me Tappers I completely forgot to say glad to see your results were normal. Does that go for the rest of you though
Lame Wolf - Nice to see you posting. there is no pressure to post everyday, just do it when you can xx
Hi,
They always phone a manager while they are there, Its to try and get you a cheeper price, But its all a con they could do it for that price anyway but after you have said no to the first quote they like to play at im doing you a favor here you can have it for so and so. Remember they will play many games with you to try and get you too by. And im sad to say that most people do fall for them....
Now if you really insist that you dont what to make your mind up tonihght then they will go. About 15mins later you will have a call off there managar asking if the rep is still there. When you say that they are not they will say oh i was phoneing to tell him that we can do your windows for an even cheeper price.
The rwp would have phone his man to tell him that you were sill thinking about it. The man knew all a long that the rep had gone. It will always be a favor to you an dyou will allways have to say yes tonight!!!!:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
Butterflybrain - try using a small local company we did and it saved us £000s. I asked around for recommendations and stayed clear of the big companies (esp those who advertise on the telly) teh ones we used in the end didn't have a big fancy showroom, slimy salesmen and no hard sell!0

Glad to hear your results were good Tappers.
Halight, I hope you pick up again soon, I thought you might be feeling a bit under the weather, you've sounded a bit tired and worn out. Hugs for you, old chap!
DG I had to laugh at that but I am just so not in the mood for pandering to him, I think I might be about to get another visit from AF, and my temper is not so good, so I am biting my tongue and stomping about the houseThis will be my fifth since the start of December!
Tomorrow is another day, and I have told him I will be making him a list for the weekend. We'll see how it goes.
Dinner was spag bol, tomorrow DS1 and I are up early and off to the carboot sale. I know there are more I want to respond to but today has been brain fazzling and my brain is shutting down to weekend mode!
Not done a lot today, did the usual DW, swiping kitchen before work, done nothing since got home, usual Friday night slob! OH not back tonight, SD not come tonight but coming tomorrow.
Work was not so good, why do people think its great to try and get other people in trouble? Sad lives they live that they like to score points!
Have hair cut booked for tomorrow and it scares me  before that need to do some deep cleaning, its all been slipping, will try to do bathroom tomorrow...make it all shiny and clean again
Hope you all have a good weekend xxwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Evening all
been MIA for a few days as DH been away again with work and took his laptop ans I dont have one of my own yet. Can get on FB on my ipod but I find the screen too small to read posts on OS and I dont like to post without reading everyone elses news.
Tappers so pleased your results were normal, bet that's a weight off your mind.
Halight hope you feel brighter soon, not like you to be down for long.
Really liking my Sky+, great to be able to record stuff but it means Ive got even more distractions to watch now :rotfl:
My dog has managed to make a hole in the hedge and has escaped 6 times today  luckily he is well known locally and very kind people have brought him back. Ive blocked the hole each time and kept an eye on him but he is still sneaking out. He isnt really an indoor dog as he's an Alaskan Malamute and loves being outside, Dh is going to put a high wire fence up tomorrow all along the hedge so that should keep him in!!
Hope everyone is ok enjoy the weekend, hugs xx0 -
Evening everyone
Have been fairly busy today, went to drs first thing re smoking cessation. Still not smoking so they were pleased.
Then to mr t's it was do busy too me over an hour, am normally in & out in alot less. Took dh 2 suits to be dry cleaned - special offer £10 for 2 which I thought was quite good. Took dog for walk. Dw on. This afternoon met a friend for coffee, then picked up ds2 who asked if 2 friends could come to the house for a bit. Had a nice chat with 1 of the mums when she came to collect her son & have exchanged numbers to meet up again. Dinner was bacon & mushroom risotto with lo for lunch tomorrow.
Dh is going to watch Chelsea tomorrow, he managed to get a free ticket, so I will be having a chillout day with ds2(will try at least).
Redruby - hope your mum enjoys her break and that your dad is ok too ((hugs)).
Lamewolf - nice to see you here.
NPM - hope you managed to sort the insurance company out.
Halight - hope you feel better soon, we need you to keep us cheerful
taplady - glad your results are ok.
Adelight - if your cough/cold has come back you could do with getting it checked.
Sorry if I have missed anyone. Hugs to anyone that needs/wants one. Take care.
