R.I.P. MSD.:A
I'm so sorry about Sonja, she was a lovely person. I haven't been on OS in ages, I've read posts though.
My Dad is now settled in his Nursing Home, and have sold his flat and cleared his debts. Thanks go to everyone on here, who supported me throughout last year when I was going through a lot with him. You are WONDERFUL people!
DD is planning the wedding now. It will be on 20th August, which would have been my Mamma's 75th birthday. It's just gone three yaers since she died, where did that go?
I am having a few probs at the moment. My feet have gone numb completely. OH was massaging my toes last week and I couldn't feel it at all. Consultant has upped my nerve pills, so we'll see how it goes.
Got my DG Saturday night as both Mum & Dad are at work Sunday. She is now 10 months old and a real delight! OH and I are such proud grandparents!
Going to a 50th birthday tonight, and will be able to catch up with all my work collegues of old, so that will be good.
Love to everyone, have a great day guys!:T

my purple lavender candle at the readyx
Been hectic here all week, had another business meeting, which went well. Got grand some funding:D. So were all happier now.
Had parent evenings, more exams and now finally its the holidays:j:j:j. It'll be so good to spend time with the boys, without dragging ourselves to the school everyday.
Another busy day today, of school assemblies, OH has a job interview in Newcastle. Then packing his stuff up for trip to the mine at the weekend. Not sure what me and the boys are going to do though, as its forecast for more snow / sleet , so its going to be blooming freezing.
Well better shoot off and make some bread. Not sure what were having for tea, prob soup or somthing.
also have to put one large pie and small mince pies in the freezer. We had another large mince pie yesterday which got demolished instant;ly. Very yummy, moreish and no one realised it had brown lentils in it;).
Right better make a move!0 -

Hi all,
Taplady- :rotfl:at naughty Louie.Great news about colposcopy.I replied to you at the end of yesterdays thread about DS back, but in case you didnt catch it-thanks.The physio reckons he has what used to be called a 'slipped disc'-so no work for him for a bit.
I'm going to the Trafford centre shortly,my boots leak water so I want some new ones and can't get what I want in our town-I think there is a bigger Clarksshop there.
DS1 wants me to dye a jumper black again as its really faded so will do that when I get back.
Not sure about tea yet.
RR-hope your mum enjoys her break,at least you can relax for a bit too with dad being safe.(((Hugs)))

yes Rosy - Louie certainly is a character!:D didn't catch your reply last night so thanks for the update. My DH has several 'prolapsed'discs - think its the same as a slipped disc. He was off work for a long time with it but is back now that the pain is under control. He takes 2 slow release tramadol a day plus regular top ups of the normal tramadol. Been waiting a long time for physio - had an appointment last summer but they cancelled due to staff shortage:mad:
Apparently they do heal in time according to our specialist but DH still gets regular bouts of sciatica.
Another bit of good news I forgot to share is that we had our gas bill yesterday and we're £96 in credit:j:j:jDo what you love :happyhear0 -
