Taplady How is your DS one? Ok i hope.

thankyou for asking Halight - his gastric problems seem ok at the moment but he is giving us a lot of stress for other reasons:mad:. He is back with his ex partner and without going into detail when they are together their lives seem to be one big drama which causes DH and me sleepless nights.
He is selfish and only seems to want us when he needs something.

Halight - I think I need some of your funny posts to cheer me up;)

My pizza - made with Aldi's pizza base mix was delicious, I made a nice tomato base and put some griddled veggies on top and a bit of cheese. Some spicy HM wedges went down nicely with it.:)

Great news on your results tappers :T
JackieG.. my DH is usually great at helping me but he does have a tendency to forget things that need to be done such as the curtain pole in DS's room that fell down in January :p hey ho he will do it eventually.

Well we had the quote for the windows after he was in the house for 3 hours .......drum roll......... £32,000.00 :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: pmsl
Suffice it to say he was shown the door even after his "manager" dropped it to £5,775 I am not as green as he was cabbage looking bloody window salesmen

We had a saleman when H and I lived in our first house together. Sales pitch started off with being told they are the most expensive window company in the area but miraculously during the course of the pitch it transpires they have fitters being held up on another job who would be free to fit out windows. As long as we signed on the dotted line there and then. I got arsey with him because he wouldn't supply a written quote (even had the cheek to use our bl00dy phone to ring his manager ) and he couldn't understand why I wanted one. Needless to say I was 20 and not as gobby as I am now so he's lucky he saw me back then.
We are uming and ahing about getting a conservatory and TBH I am dreading the pressue selling tactics although perhaps I should use it as an opportunity to putting my caged rage to good use ;)

Forgive me Tappers I completely forgot to say glad to see your results were normal. Does that go for the rest of you though ;):p

Lame Wolf - Nice to see you posting. there is no pressure to post everyday, just do it when you can xx

  • Evening all

I had a lovely day shopping in Cardiff with my friends, a proper girly day :) none of us bought anything though! But we gossiped and laughed so much :D

I think I'm going to end things with metal guy, we just can't seem to find time to get together. We were meant to go out last night but he ended up having a gig, so we said tonight but I've not heard a word off him today :( and TBH I'm too old to play games with men. It was nice whilst it lasted. I do still have the other guy to flirt with (neighbour's friend) so I'm not quite an old spinster yet :rotfl:

I'm gonna make HM pizza and wedges for tea and cwtch in on sofa tonight

    Good, aren't they!!!

We did our windows 2 years ago, quotes were mad money and salesmen were.......no comment!
Finally got 8 windows for £2200 and was very pleased with the job, same company did my neighbour, 7 windows, french doors and front door for just over £3000.
