Morning All,

Thoughts with DIVA and her family today

Redruby, glad your mum is having a break, hope you find your dad more settled today.

I am not going to mention Hollywoods at all this morning. My DH parting shot this morning was will you be discussing your Beaver today:eek:

Well had to buy a new spike to put my rotary clothes line in as we just couldn't find the other one and everybody has been for a look:cool: don't know what the neighbours think we are doing, but at least I can peg out today although I think rain is forecast.

Mrs grumpy this morning as DS3 had not finished his essay which is due in today, despite me nagging him all week, so he had to rush and try and finish it before school. We managed to print it off by the skin of our teeth but he drives me insane, so unorganised

Have already put out the recycling and emptied the vac, washed pots and swept kitchen floor. Want to try and get as much flying as poss today so we can have a chill at the wkend. Visit to Yorkshire to see mum and dad on Sunday.

Tea tonight will be Cottage pie and mushy peas.

Also off to the shops for food, Mr A's and F@rm foods and possibly a dip in home B@rgains. Gosh that's tired me out just reading it back.

Have a good Friday J x

Good morning all

I joined too late to know MSD in fact the day I intended joining in for the first time was when you all found out she had died and it felt intrusive to jump in so I left it a day or two. You obviously all cared a great deal for her so I'm sorry for your loss.

Off to work soon until 2. Just been in touch with a friend to ask her to let me know if any vacancies come up where she is. Not unhappy where I am but if I worked closer to home I wouldn't need the car. Be nice to save the money.

OS today I will be cooking the whoopsied chicken I got yesterday, love making loads of meals from a chicken.

Have a lovely day all. Remember to make the most of each one.
• Good Morning Everyone, I`m so glad it`s Friday.

Still struggling with the after effects of the virus I had last weekend. I`m so tired I could sleep for days. Wish I could do this :j
Don`t think it`s helped with working through it. Never mind I don`t work weekends.

OS and decluttering wise - didn`t manage anything at all yesterday. Had such a busy day with work and then didn`t feel up to doing anything last night. The ironing mountain has now spread to 2 chairs  and there`s the forgotten basket on the bed in the spareroom

Plans for today are work, trip to shops at lunchtime (have to drop DD at Orthodontist) so could be an interesting trip with DGS who`s suffering from the `terrible two`s` with me. Then back home to do more work.

Tonight were off to a quiz night - usually fun and will be nice to see some friends we haven`t seen recently. Don`t have to worry about cooking tonight we have meal at quiz.

Have a great day everyone :)

As some of you may know Diva was one of my best friends ... over on the flylady thread we are having a purple day in memory of her :A so if any of you would like to join us in wearing purple & lighting candles please do.

Thanks for all the kind comments, I know how popular she was on here ... early mornings will never be the same without her purple posts.

xx

• Morning everyone!

Well today I have friends coming over... and even though I am a really good cook... all they want is 'fast food' yuk! And they wonder why they pay more for food then us but eat less!!!! Anyway I am making Kievs, Chips and Beans for them, but it's all high GI/Gl so I will be having Onion, Mushroom and Feta Scrambled Eggs...!

I will however make them waffles because there is no way they are eating at my house and not having 'some' good homecooked food (I will be having an Oatcake, HM Hummus and Cheddar for Dessert). I am looking after their son this weekend, last time he loved it at my house because he's not a big eater and always polished off his plate! He said my food was the best!

Anyway! thank goodness the weekend is here, my DS is going to his Grandma's for the week so I have 7 days of freedom (of homework and early mornings)!

I also found a great HM curry recipe on the boards, which is low GI/GL so I am going to make the base this weekend ready for when DS comes home and then i'll make us some curry :D

I am hoping to take the boys out tomorrow, maybe for a hike through the woods! Feed some fish/ducks or something! If the weather is good, the playpark on the way home will be an idea too!

Hope you all have a wonderful day x

Jx

RIP Diva - thinking of Ian and the family today x x x

just had some good new through the post - the results from my tissue sample from my latest colposcopy are 'normal':j:j:j

Got to have a re-test in 6 months so can forget about it till then:)

Have just dyed my hair, need an appointment to get it trimmed in the next week now.

Little louie has been upto his fun and games again - last night he'd been in the washing machine and taken the whole lot out and spread it round the kitchen - luckily it hadn't been washed yet. This morning he'd been in the cupboard and had got his paws on a big bottle of Lenor and was chewing it - caught him just before he managed to chew through it!:D he really is a lively little chap!

Just having a cuppa before I get ready to pop into town.

Halight - where are you? hope you are all ok x
Do what you love :happyhear
• Good Morning All,

Sad day today, and I am wearing a lovely purple scarf in honour of Diva. (I've also got a purple bra on ;):) ) I shall be joining in The FLYladies' silence this afternoon in Sonja's honour.

Damp and cold here today, boys are at school, OH is still sleeping, that man could sleep for Britain! He was talking in his sleep last night, something is obviously bothering him, as I don't think I've ever heard that before. He got a fixed pena;lyy for going through a red light on the way to work the other night, even though he and his passenger insist it changed to amber just as he reached it and the police were sitting at a right angle to him, so couldn't possibly have seen the lights from their position. He is trying to decide if its worth the hassle of appealing it, they were insistent at the time if he wanted to appeal it there and then he would need to go with them and fill our forms for the PF but he was on his way to work and didn't have time, so he's stewing about it now.

Cut DS1's hair at last, last night, I cut off more than I intended but it looks good, and he's pleased with it. He went to the school disco, and was chuffed with all the attention from the girls about his "new" hair :rotfl: DS2 is getting the chop tonight, and OH at some point today, too.

Cleaning, duvet washing and batch cooking for me today.

Redruby hope your mum comes back refreshed and revived.

Oh meant to say, saw on FB that Celyn is now wed Congrats to Mr and Mrs Celyn! :D
