Thank you susiecm3! Just googled surgeons knot, tried it and its much better, even without glue! (Which is OK for me, but the ones for school need to be even stronger) someone has suggested 'GS hypo cement' to seal the knot (belt and bracing it):T

It is just glues, no stronger than superglue and a pain in the bum to use, you can even use clear nail varnish, no elastic bracelet in unbreakable, even if the knot hold the elastic can snap, also if you double the elastic it will help with strength

Im intrigued and trying to find how to make the bracelet above, but as i dont know what kind it is i can google a tutorial IYSWIM. Im planning on doing a biggish bead order tomorrow, so would really appreciate any help or advice on it.

I bought the bracelet from Primark...Its in the jewellery dept (£1). Similar ones from craft stores cost £2-3. I suppose you could make one, but the cost of the chain alone would be £2-3.............. then there is the time and effort to thread it on to very strong elastic and trying to secure it.
I have made (and sold) many of these bracelets.
The beads are treaded on to headpins, a hoop is made and then attached to the bracelet using strong 5mm jumprings.

I have been busy making loads of stock for two Jewellery Parties in the next few weeks.

Some of my friends have teenage daughters who are longing for handbags and accessories from "Pauls B0utique"....I have created these..........

I think they will look great clipped to a plain handbag.

I have also been making more of the stretchy bracelets....with Swarovski Crystals.

Thanks shipr!!!95, totally love those and might have to drag my Oh and girls to livi to go to primark. Love love love the bracelets! The charms are lovely too, i have all the bits and bobs to do them but no round nosed pliers! grrrrr

My round nosed pliers have "had it"........the padding has all come off. So every time I use them for long period I get blisters on the palm of my R hand.

I will have to ask Father Christmas for a new pair.

I have had a busy morning making some bracelets and handbag charms for a friend.

Had to do a massive online order for more findings and beads last night.

More making later once the kids are in bed.
