Constructive Advice Regarding Benefits Required Please

OK,
So it seems (as expected) there were always going to be sarcastic comments.
For those who found it quite amusing, but obviously have the luxuries of making do on their partners benefits, possibly claiming child support for 2 or more kids which enables them to make ends meet, but still somewhat feel they have to linger around a money saving website in order to live comfortably, then I should just mention that
A. Yes I did go through 1 year with depression caused to unfair dismissal after working 5 years for an employee in which I now have a work related illness.
B. If I thought for 1 Second, that there would be any chance of bumping into Qualified, Non-Temping Job Center Staff that actually knew their job then I would of not posted in this forum.
Unfortunately I could go on, but it obviously seems that it's the same old case of the Tax Payer against the Unemployed Scenario who have obviously been watching too much Jeremy Kyle.
If I wanted to try and be smart and witty, I would just sign off, give the DWP to remove all personal data stored against me on file 2 weeks to remove it, and then sign back on as a new claimant and not go down the rapid reclaim route in which allows the job center 24 weeks after you stop being a client to keep hold of your data on their systems, therefore bypassing the data protection act.
I trust you don't take this attitude when applying for jobs? Maybe this is where you are going wrong?Gone ... or have I?0 -
OP, you really need to ask for more help in seeking work. No one should be out of work for five years, I can only assume you are making yourself come across as an unattractive employee.
Thanks for the response, I'm actually doing nothing wrong, which is why I emphasized as to how someone could go so long without a doubt being raised as to whether or not they were doing enough to seek work.
It's just that the Job Center are there to meet targets, same as outside 3rd party back to work companies who are purely rewarded for getting the figures, regardless of how they achieve this.
So when it comes to someone who obviously has barriers, which they have not come across someone having before, then they move on to a client who is less likely to need the same level of help in finding work, which helps these so called "Qualified" people maintain set K.P.I's.0 -

No, I don't actually come across with the same attitude, it's only the way I've been left to feel after 5 years of going around in circles through not getting support off fully qualified staff which are 9 times out of 10 Temp staff who have very little experience or interest in helping those that need it.
IE, Such staff tell you how it is a total no go, to bring negativity upon a previous employer. How can I get round not being negative, to the extent of being unfairly dismissed by someone who was later dismissed themselves for Gross Misconduct, and has a very poor reputation with Job Center Plus due to the High level of Staff Turnover. Yet due to this being my most recent employee, this is obviously where any potential future employer would go to obtain a reference, in which I'm told not to include as a reason for which the job ended being that I was unfairly dismissed which was proven and awarded in my favour.0 -

If I worked in the JC your card would be marked in red pen with words to the effect of:
0/10: Must Try Harder or See Me After Lesson
By the way. Your musings are missing some "magic" words like "mental health issues" or "I'm disabled (in some way)".
Thanks for the comment
So in going by what you said, am I right in saying that my local Job Center should be investigated for not actually doing their jobs correctly for the last 5 years? As I'm sure they would find it hard to provide evidence to suggest I was not fulfilling my part of the Jobseeker's agreement.0 -

And in response to your question above, then yes I could expect to lose 1 DAYS PAY not 1 WEEK, but as I stated, this is something I agreed to be bound to after signing the latest Jobseekers agreement.
You'd only lose 1 days pay because you'd turn up to work the other FOUR days of the week. If you only worked one day of the week (the equivalent of signing on) you'd lose all your pay if you didn't turn up on the SOLE day you worked. I'm not saying you don't do work seeking employment from your home but to compare signing for JSA to a job is ridiculous and a useless analogy.
With regards to your argument you shouldn't have lost the week I think it would be healthier to let it go and move on. It's very unlikely your appeal would be successful and the time you spend obsessing over it and working yourself up is time wasted when you could have been doing something more constructive. I also think this whole thing about claiming for stress is ridiculous. We're all stressed due to other people's incompetence; employed or not. Deal with it.0 -

If I wanted to try and be smart and witty, I would just sign off, give the DWP adequate time to remove all personal data stored against me on file, and then sign back on as a new claimant and not go down the rapid reclaim route in which allows the job center 24 weeks after you stop being a client to keep hold of your data on their systems, therefore bypassing the data protection act.

No, again I am not like this when applying for Jobs. I am purely being like this because I knew full well that I would be met with sarcasm and negativity on the issue.
I am just merely stating that I am not brain dead and have done more research then I let on, on this subject.
The reason I disallow myself to be run down by the system, is because I was unfairly dismissed on Key Performance Indicators which could not be met due to my previous employer failing to provide the adequate working clothes of quality which prevented me from withstanding such extreme cold temperatures for longer then what I could do previously before the pains became worse in my fingertips.
So when it comes to K.P.I's I know how Job Centers Work, same as Back to Work training providers, who are all rewarded at the end of the month according to how many people they helped back into work, regardless of methods used.
Methods such as wrongly informing a client that they had 2 sanctions made against them for not being able to find more then 3 jobs in 1 week to apply for as it was not deemed good enough, as you signed to say that you would apply for a target of 6.
Target being the keyword.
This is why I appear so stubborn, as I was unfairly dismissed due to K.P.1's being doctored to make it appear that I was unable to do my job. hence I would not be intimidated by anyone regardless of whether it be an employer, or job center plus staff, and if it means speaking up with the risk of losing benefit money for a week or 2 then I will do it.
The only reason most Jobseekers never speak up about issues, is almost certainly in fear of having their benefits stopped, which means this sort of thing is left to go on and on.0
