  • Well I love that website, what a great selection of rails and the prices are fab!

I agree, looking back at what it was before and what it is now is remarkable, whenever I'm doing something up in the house I always take before and after pix (and during!) and I'm always amazed at the transformation.

I just looked at the "before" photos and am myself shocked at the total renovation, all you need is an idea and an open mind ;o))

And not least of all, some skill!

    The room looks great.

May need to change the hose for the shower to a 2 metre one for aesthetic reason, I connected the fan tonight ( it worked ) and just need to wire in the thermostat for the heated floor but that will be done on Saturday.

Also door frame and door to be varnished, shower curtain rail to be fitted and grouting around mirror to be done.
  • What type of heated floor did you go for? What sort of base/insulation did you lay it on?

I can't remember the make as all the paperwork is at the house but it was the matted one and not the loose wire, have plywood and a foil underlay to reflect the heat upwards and it was covered with self levelling screed before the floor tiles were laid.
