English - Err ok. Bathroom renovation looks brilliant. I asked if anybody knew where I could purchase a newel post the same as OP has at the bottom of their stairs....:rotfl:

Duravit Vero its the 1050mm wide one. The Vanity unit is X Large and Oak Anthracite.

As ever looking fab! My only concern that I think let's the whole top notch job down is the fact you've put up a shower curtain. Me personally, to follow the minimal clean lines, I would have had a nice glass shower screen fitted to the side of the bath instead. Just my preference though.

Can't wait to see the full effect of the sun pipe though, what a great idea.

there is a reason for the curtain and its the best solution at the moment but I have spare tiles if I ever decide to put a glass panel in....

Hopefully when I am at the house on Saturday I will get a decent photo up of the sun tunnel in action......

It's just me and an adverse reaction to evil shower curtains! I'm sure you have a perfectly reasonable reason for having one, it's just I hate them with a passion lol

Yes I'd love to see the sunpipe in action as I've only ever seen them on tv, would be nice to see the effect of a real one so to speak!

You should feel very proud of yourself. You're doing a fantastic job. We're having our bathroom gutted next week & hope our bathroom fitters do such a grand job. Can't wait to see end result of yours.

Try a salvage yard as that is the original newel I need to clean it up one day but thats just another job added to a long list............. sigh
