No photo's for today as builder will be getting the light tunnel in but I have connected up the thermostat for the heated floor powered it up and am gradually heating the floor up.
  • Lookin ruddy marv! It's such a transformation!
  • Great work. Very impressive. I dont need to go even half the way when it comes to ripping stuff out that you have, but it still seems very daunting!

Right here we go, just had one of these fitted as the landing is dark du to the house being a in a terrace and the fact the loft is insulated and there are no sky lights, will try to take a photo on Saturday when its light.

Well the bathroom is nearly finished, power to the heated floor turned on and slowly adjusting the temperature upwards, I also went for shower curtains but am not happy with the shower rail as it's one of those ones that comes in sections and if I can find a one piece one then it will be replaced but for the time being it will do.

You need to gradually heat the floor by approx 1-2 degrees a week

Your travertine tiles will take very little to crack dont risk by maxing the floor out immediatly
