I could not give a toss if you want to kill yourself
you feel that way about every single person that breaks the speed limit? how about a mother breaking the limit so she can pick her kids up from school? how about an fire engine breaking the limit to rescue someone? i thought i was right wing, but you make me look like a guardian reader.0 -
how about an fire engine breaking the limit to rescue
That is no comparison being an emergency vehicle and you know that so why post it. For them it is written in law for us it is not a big difference.0 -
so how about a mother breaking the limit to pick her kids up from school? would you give a toss if she died in a car accident?
thanks pompey, but i think you will find emergeny services drivers are also bound to the traffic laws.0 -

As others have said the more you post the more you come across as an idiot, so mothers break the speed limit to get to schools do they, I think most mothers would be insulted at your suggestion and be horrified that someone like you may cause an accident that could harm their children.
Emergency vehicles have warning sirens and lights to warn people of their approach, what warnings do idiots like you have that think speeding is ok, you rant about OAP's driving you want to look at your own and see just how dangerous you are but of course you think you are perfectly safe and a good driver cocooned in your speeding missile.0 -
but you made it clear that you "don't give a toss if i get killed". your reason for your lack of compassion is that on occasion i speed. most drivers in britain speed. i just wondered if you had the same lack of compassion for every speeding driver?
for the record i think every human life has some value.0 -
I have not bothered at all before but I have just hunted around and found the "Ignore Button"You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0

They are when they are not flashing lights or sounding horn, but then they are they have a set of laws for that also.
So yes they can speed but only when the flashings lights and sounds compel them to do so0 -

As an ex- firefighter, and emergency fire appliance driving instructor, I can say that you are wrong in the main. To clarify, no speed limit applies to fire vehicles on an emergency, nor do they have to obey traffic lights or keep left signs etc.0 -

If someone breaks the speed limit and is aware of the consequences and realises the how stupid it is I can understand and maybe have some compassion, but when you post on here with the attitude that it is perfectly ok to break the speed limits and do not even care about the safety of other road users then I have no compassion, I have seen too many results of idiots that break speed limits and think it is ok.
When you started this thread I found it slightly amusing as I thought it was light hearted, but now I realise you are serious and just an idiot that is likely to cause someone serious injury at some time I have seen too many of your type.0 -

Indeed and you said it, just a shame you do not value those principals when behind a steering wheel0
