Hmmmm who here have experienced the "i'll drive 40 in a NSL but once i enter a 30 i'll continue going 40" brigade? You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means - Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride0

"on bless, you think breaking the speed limit is exciting and a good thing and an indication of an entire personality. don't worry, at some point you'll grow up! "
i just think driving too slow can be as bad as driving too fast. anyone that says they never break the speed limit is clearly not a very confident driver.
they sound the type of person that joins a motorway at 30mph (my pet hate).0 -
the worst drivers are the ones that have all day and will block and obstruct others because they have all the time in the world
''i want that parking space, so i will sit and block the car park while my fellow no need to rush person puts their shopping in 1 item at a time''
''the speed limit is 40, i'll do 25 and there is no need to go down this clear, straight road in dry, perfect daylight conditions any quicker''
or that drive a car way too big for them and cause carnage trying to control it
i hope i'm not some reckless impatient oik, i'm 29Who remembers when X Factor was just Roman suncream?0 -
Even in a signed speed limited area (say 30mph) if speed is not appropriate to the prevailing conditions (safe could be 20 or less) an examiner would fail a learner. You scullion! You rampallian! You fustilarian! I’ll tickle your catastrophe (Henry IV part 2)0

you never break the speed limit? if you don't you should stop driving.
If that is what you really think that does rather say a lot about you, I do not break speed limits though I drive up to them if the conditions are appropriate, nothing to do with how I drive more the fact that I value my licence and do not particularly wish to pay unnecessary fines, however I do not see why I should stop driving just because I stay within the legal speed limits.0 -
you've never broken the speed limit? you do seem very sanctimonous.
i always thought it was good practice to drive at a speed appropriate to the road conditions. on occasion that does mean i do over 31mph in a thirty.0 -
you do seem very sanctimonous.
Nothing to do with being sanctimonious, I have seen enough RTA's and the consequences of people with your attitude, try pulling a few dead bodies and mangled bodies out of cars or seeing people that have been paralysed or maimed for life all caused by drivers who think it is all right to drive over the speed limits.0 -
as the french say why live like an invalid to die a well man?
i'm not convinced, i'll still drive at 10mph over the limit. just like most people.0
