  • Evening all,

Well, training at work continues, as does the 9-5. Yesterday it took me 2 hours and 20 minutes to get into work due to unexplained traffic - I was half an hour late . Have been onto the ward today which was ok, but becuase they want to be nice to me, they're putting me on 9-5 next week as well :(

OH is back in contact, but doesn't know whether he's coming home or not. He keeps being told he's going on another job, then it's that he's being sent home. I'd quite like him home, but I have no say in it.

It's very OS here at the moment, as I do nothing but commute and work it seems. Am currently slobbing on the sofa watching the Simpsons. Will go and have a shower in a min, then it's baked salmon and creamed spinach for dinner.

My chest feels really carp too - I'm not sure if it's the air con in the room we're working in or the amount of swinging around I'm doing trying out the different restraints, or if it's yet another cold.

Oh well, only another 2 days of the working week to go, then 2 days off. When I go onto my shifts, I'll be working long days, so it'll be Mon, Tues work, off until the weekend,, then working Sat and Sun, then off until Weds, then working until Fri, then off until the Monday again.

Hope everyone's well, and hugs to those who need them.

    T xx

hairless beaver. so to speak. Very common amongst the younger generation for some reason.

Nearly spat my coffee out at that :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
What exactly is a turn on about a plucked chicken ;)

As you can see I am not at tap class. H had a puncture on his push bike, changed tubes and it punctured again. Had to drive halfway to brum to pick him up and then to Halfords so he could buy some more inner tubes. This is all because his scooter is poorly and the engine needs cleaning, his charger for the scooter is also dead so awaiting a new one. My husband and his transport problems, bloomin' nightmare. Anyway he's out fixing the bike, DS is sitting on a chair out there with him gazing at the moon so I've opted to miss tap as I wasn't ready to go and would have ended up being too late.

Have realised that I've not been as Frugal as I would have liked lately. Grocery budget has been spot on generally but since we finished our car loan in December the extra money has sort of been frittered away on carp. So I need to definately cut back on the unecessary spending again so I can save the extra like I planned.

Adelight - enjoy your mini date :D

Freya - well done you on your great attitude :D

I think a Hollywood is a bit extreme, a short back and sides does me fine:o:rotfl:Mrs M you made tea come down my nose:rotfl:

I had a result at sainsbobs, 3 packs for mince for 35p each :) and snausages for 70p instead of £2.00

So weekly shop came to a total of £20.72 this week. Very impressed. Bought popping corn and plan on having a movie weekend with the OH

Not had a chance to post for a few days but been reading. Bramble, congrats to you, I bet that lad's family are glad he met someone like you.
Freya - you have a fab attitude, well done.
The pant beard made me think of OH, we once went swimming and a woman came in who could have done with a 'trim' and he said she looked like Leo Sayer with a cap on!
Been keeping up with the housework and washing for a change, washing on airers as not sure when it's going to rain. It's cold here but dry at the moment and earily light outside.
Went to see DS1 and GF last night and take them some gifts for their engagement and they gave me a copy of the scan photo, the baby is so clear and it now seems very real!

Off to bed in a mo, not been sleeping well so will try again tonight. Take care. XX
