hello all.
Sorry not posted for a few days.
Been trying to catch up with the housework. Put the baby with my sister yesterday so I could sort out his room & bleach the bathroom floor.
I', really tired just lately. Not sure if it's a "hangover" from my chest onfection.
Hope everyone is well.
Love (((hugs))) & spoons

grrrr DH just rang. Insurance company have phoned him and written our car/van off:mad:
What a nightmare, he needs it for work so we need to sort something.
They havent given him price yet for what they will pay out so we shall see, we need to be able to replace the car.
Why does nothing ever go right in this family:(
Reading up on internet about write offs and what happens etc....very confusing.
what the hell happens with the car ins.....just paid £800 last month for a year. The accident was other partys fault and they admitted liability so are we still insured after we get payout for car???? I dont want to pay for insurance again:o0 -
My friend appealed when her car got written off & it was then repaired. Am unsure how you go about that though.
Insurance companies prefer to write off cars as it's "easier" for them.
Hope you get something sorted soon

Afternoon all,
Very cold here to-day but OH decided that we couldn't postpone seed planting any longer, so he has been out on the deck sowing away to his heart's content, will then put them in plastic greenhouse in larger greenhouse, we got wonderful heat that way last year...won't remember what he put where so will be depending on my skill of recognising very small plants when they sprout!
Dinner to-day will be left over chicken from yesterday, soup first so looking forward to that, nice warming dinner for this time of year.
Ruby...hugs to you and your family.
Candy....I could wallop that DD of yours, which wouldn't help but would relieve my aggression! Hugs to you and Boo.
NPM...the insurance premium you paid will still stand for whatever you replace OH's van with, if other driver has admitted liability your insurance company will claim what they pay you as write-off from his/her insurance. Good luck with replacement.
GJ/Adelight....just reminded me that I haven't made hummous in ages and I love it. Will also try butter beans, thanks.
Mrs MH....glad you are feeling better, hugs.
Need to clean out car, I put Kerry in the boot, where she is quite happy but OH insists on letting her onto back seat, which is full of hairs and mud at present....grrrr.
Hugs to all in need or want of one, take care and keep warm

http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/11674/spiced+butter+bean+dip the yoghurt just makes it creamier and more dip than pate
or like hummus (less the tahini)
This is great! Yogurt is low GI and the recipe tells you the carbs per serving, which when spread on crackers at smaller amounts is very reasonable! I will definatly try this!
Look at me! A week ago I wouldn't have contemplating trying it! :TWe spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy! Mortgage Free Wannabe :dance:Overpayments Made: £5400 - Interest Saved: £11,550 - Months Saved: 240 -
Gers hope you soon feel better
i am also full of cold and sore throat , luckily i am off today so i can rest, although i have already cleaned the bathroom and shower room made the beds washed up , tidied round taken DD1 to shops and then to school, put the washer on.
Thanks - the snot attack continues but I'm up and running. Sucking 'soothers' help the throat. Just back from work and not even going to attempt any nasty housework stuff.
For those who are losing weight - someone said it's about body shape changing rather than losing lbs - have to agree with this. I've been (again) on hardcore LC for the past two weeks (with a carb day last Friday) and can feel the changes in how I walk and how clothes fit. Don't dare go on scales  I enjoy the hardcore LC way of eating as the cravings go really quickly and the food is really filling.
Hey, ho - car has been serviced, purse has been emptied and loads of work done. So it's a happy Gers here!
Now have to deal with an allergic rash on my legs and hands, all from using Palmers Cocoa Butter cream. I knew I shouldn't have used it as I get a reaction from stuff which is very heavily perfumed, even get it with Johnson's Baby Oil, I've been itching for a couple of days now and the reason is now apparent - have taken an anti-histamine now so hopefully it'll calm down. My own fault
Evening meal will be roast gammon in a big pile of steamed/stir-fried vegetables which are mostly limp and on their last legs! :j
Ah, Flog it!! :j0 -
Afternoon Everyone!
Its cold and wet here, although the rain has stopped. I believe it is nice and warm in Spain though
Redruby, have a {{{hug}}} hope you are all OK. xxx
Freya sorry to hear about your relationship, but well done for reprioritising and good luck with the Sunday shift - some acult time will do youthe world of good.
Not much happening here. I am being a lazy bones, I have lost all my motivation.
The house is a tip and I am taking one step forward, two steps back unfortunately. I am also worried about MIL, she's not doing so well just now, and she is forging ahead with her plans to relocate and upset with me for not telling the boys. I can't until its all definite as DS1 will really struggle to cope with the worry of it all. Gah, enough moaning from me!
Have a nice evening all, I am going to attempt some floor cleaning and making dinner - pasta for the boys, roasted veg and feta for me. I want to do another fruit salad too. BTW if anyone likes the Total 0% yoghurt, Tesco have an own brand one which is 50p for the 200ml tub - the Total one is 88p in my local Tesco, and the own brand one is almost the same flavourwise, definitely worth the saving!!
See you later, remember - its hip to be square!
