Blimey, you lot don't get much do you?
Although my bosses are normally as tight as ducks ar55es, this year we are going to France for a day on a booze run and lunch, a days clay pigeon shooting and then a pub Christmas dinner on another day and probably a bit in my pay packet as i'm on profit share and we've done allright this year.
Oh and i get two weeks off.
My last Employer, AXA, gave us a christmas do and then a Bonus of around 12.5% annual salary.
I got £650 for being in the job for 5 months 2 years ago!! July to December, paid following March. Result.
My Employer before that gave us a Christmas meal out and £300.
Although i am a miserable git usually, i think i've done ok over the years.0 -
First Christmas in new job. Work pays for us to go out for a Christmas lunch, in work's time. Get week off in between in additional to holiday entitlement.
Not bad but could do better.
Just started as a Virgin Vie Christmas Consultant so planning to pay myself a bonus. Two parties a week should earn me about £600 for Crimbo.
Just heard about an investment banker who will get a £2m bonus, where was investment banking on my careers advice from school?Proud to be dealing with my debts! :T0 -

What a banker . . . . . .0 -
Not sure how much hubby will get this year. last year it was a £50 cash bonus. This year the boss is talking about doing a works christmas do.
Hubby has saved his cash up from bonuses he has been due for a while so it should be a nice lump sum. He works on lorries & when they complete a lorry in a certain length of time they get a bonus for it. Hubby hasnt had his for 6 months so you never know
I might even get a bonus from hubby for working so hard looking after the children.
hugs

Some places are more generous than others, aren't they!
My boss gives us £25 vouchers, and the company take us out for Christmas lunch/drinkies, usually somewhere quite expensive in London (this year at a nice veggie restaurant). We're allowed to have from around Dec 22nd off until Jan 4th ish without using our holiday allowance too.0 -
