OP:- If you think long term- you state that you OH's children from a previous relationship are 16 years + then it won't be much longer before he will not have to pay for them at all which I am sure will be a relief to you as you sound very bitter and resentful that your partner has children with another woman before he ever met you..unfortunately it is the way of the world these days and you will just have to get over yourself and mature a little. The opposite of what you know...is also true0

ok so let me get this straight... you have over 1.8K income each month of your own after tax (I shall discount your OHs income since this is "taken" by maintenance and old debts), the benefit of a company car and no mortgage or rent to pay and yet you are complaining that this isn't enough and you should get more help from the tax payer? I'd have more respect had you paid off you mortgage yourself instead of relying on bank of mum and dad to buy you a house... and before you try the jealous card nope I am not, my parents could more than afford to buy me a house or two but I choose to not accept as think they may need this money in later life and I want to stand on my own two feet.Daughters Sealed Saving Pot - start them young :money: £90 :T0
