hi there
1) i think it depend's on who you bank with. my hsbc statements were all online. but my natwest ones only went back 6 months!
2)yes the account holding branch is fine for just requesting statements, but when you get further along you will need to use your banks registered address.
3) i think its just 40 days from now! thats what ive based mine on anyhow!!!
only sent mine off yesterday recorded delivery....nearly died when i added it up £2884 from the Hsbc!! NEARLY £3600 with the interest added on!:eek:0 -

Sign into your HSBC account. On the left handside click on "My Statements". If will bring up a screen with a list of statements by month. At the bottom of that is an icon "Next set". Click on that and it will go to the previous year. Hope this helps.0

Hi
I sent off my initial letter asking for a list of charges or statements from the last 6 years to my local HSBC branch as I didnt see the list of addresses until afterwards - will this have any affect on my 40 days right??
ThanksI've just started entering the competitions (July 07). When I win I'll update this signature. Look on the bright side, I shouldn't have to update it very often.0 -
No, it will make no difference at all. I've sent all requests for six different claims to the local branches. This has been fine in every case.
It's more important to send the letter recorded/registered delivery so you have proof they received it.How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

Hi there. Apologies if this is already addressed elsewhere but I can't find an answer. Basically, I began the court process after HSBC refused to refund about £400 worth of charges.
HSBC came back and agreed to refund them. However, no payment by them (or their solicitors) has been made back into my account. Since then, I've been sent a court date in the post.
Do I cancel the case via Moneyclaim online or should I wait until the money is back in the account?
Advice welcome.0
