It appears that Aldi are selling a 32" HD LCD TV "for an unbelievable price" on Thursday, 23rd November. No info on their site yet.
Just in time for the Christmas season! :j
Anyone got any inside info on this offer?

I saw this in the Aldi near me last week - it was selling for about £499.990

If it's the same TV then perhaps the price is about to come crashing down or it's an updated version?
Ideally, I'd like to have a 32" LCD by Xmas and as TechFever are still out of stock, I'm wondering if this might be a good alternative.I'm NOT political so DON'T correct me!0 -

For Aldi I'm not convinced that would be 'an unbelievable price'. Woolies were selling one for £400 (probably rubbish, though?) so I would expect something like £350? Or will it all be a dream??

How much was the 40" again which was sold a while back? Can anyone remember?0

Picked up a leaflet yesterday. It will be £389.99 (or some what similar not got the leaflet here)
I got one from Techfever (eventually) and it looks similar although with a lower contrast (aldi)Registered Linux user #497422 :beer:0 -
These cheaper screens dont seem to be anywhere as near good quality as the dell LCD tvs. I was watching the £399.99 black one (two diff ones for £399.99 - one silver and one black) and the picture quality wasnt great, they had another one on by the side of it for £599.99 and the picture quality was miles better but still not as good as the dell tvs.
Any sites for reviews/ratings which include these unbranded/unknown branded tvs?
I would rather pay £715 and get the dell TV, but obviously if theres a cheaper alternative I could be swayed

The Woolworths one had good reviews on avforums.
Alot of what you view in the shops does actually depend on how they have wired it up, as they may have many splitters in place etc to feed a picture to a number of TV's on display.
Plus, how true this is I am not exactly sure but heard it a number of times, that there are actually only 2 manufacturers of LCD TV's in the world.0 -

Cheers - Just looking at AVforums, seems quite alot of complaints with them but overall good rating - Think I will try and get one next time they come in stock - can always take it back if its not "up to scratch".
However I am 99.99% certain there are more than 2 LCD TV manufactures in the world.

If its 10p then that would be an unbeleivable price0
