i found a piece of tooth/bone like object in one of those tesco beef meatballs. its hard like your normal bone n looks like a piece of broken tooth. it's about 2 x 0.5 x 0.2 cm in size.

I have thrown the packaging and meatballs away but i have taken a picture of it on my plate. shall I bring it back to a store/ email the CEO directly? absolutely unbelievable...

judging from the size/shape of it, its very likely to be a piece of broken human tooth. is that what you'd expect from meat product?!

No thats what your wild imagination thinks, it's a bit of bone!

Buy supermarket sausages (or other processed meat) and you'll come across pieces of bone with the dimentions you've said every few months. I really don't think I'm finding human teeth every few months do you?

Sorry I've got to ask, was that post a wind up or do you think a relative of Fred West works in a meat factory?

Well..... dealing with over 100 customers a day for the last five years at one of the leading supermarket head offices I can tell you that a good 50% of issues are petty and not put across in a way in which would be successful. I would tear a customer apart, and so would most CSM's as customers take bad advise on how to complain.

Prat is a terrible insult you !!!!!!! I'm sorry, but you are being given advise on how to get results, but your an ignorant !!!!. I do not work for this comany anymore and thank god i dont cos if i had to speak to you the call would be terminated! If i had to put up with people complaining about stupid things like one mouldy grape that cost you 2p.

I am not and was never bad at customer service. For the head centre in the CCA i was nominated for an award. I gave excellent customer service at all times and took pride in my work and thats why i am being paid about 5-10 fold what i was two months ago.

I am trying to give you help, but your a !!!!. Your the reason this country is in the compensation, claiming americanised state it is in now.

If any normal person with any sense wants any advise on how to be successful in putting forward a complain, feel free to send a message. Most companies will send out system generated automated responses in which they can pay upwards of £25,000 each to have composed, these can easily be ripped apart in many ways. I am not a prat (original insult of which i am quaking in my boots) and i will be happy to help anyone who does come up against any problems as i am here to HELP YOU!!!!

you can tell you work in customer service as your so quick to blame the customer

This afternoon 24th May 2010 I had occasion to do some shopping at the tesco store in Warndon, Worcester. I did not have a problem with this aspect as my wife was with me. Once we had done our shopping we proceeded to the checkout.

The cashier rung up the bill and I went to pay by debit card only to find that the PIN machine was on the other side of the cashier’s counter. As I was using elbow crutches I was unable to insert my card into the machine and had to ask my wife to do this for me. I had to then remove the elbow crutch from my right arm and steady myself so that I could enter my PIN. In doing so I had to bend over and this caused me a great deal of pain.

In addition as I had to lean forward to insert my PIN, all and sundry around me could see my PIN number being entered and in my opinion this compromised my security. For a company that supposedly takes security seriously and is ever vigilant about security issues I am astounded that the PIN machine is set so far back from the aisle whereas in most supermarkets it is on the aisle for ease of use. Also the location of the machine makes it very difficult for any one to read the amount that they authorising.

Even more annoying was when I went to the customer service desk and asked to see a manager to voice my grievances, although the very helpful lady paged for a manager three times, by the time I left there was no sign of a manager. I could stay no longer as I can only walk on my crutches for a limited time. So much for customer service and we feel that we should never shop at another Tesco store. I am fairly sure that the local press would be interested about our bad experience at Tesco in Warndon and Tesco’s interpretation of the Disabilities Act. I feel certain that if this is published in the local paper many more people with come forward with similar complaints regarding the location of the PIN machine.

I feel that in addition to compromising my security, my rights as someone who is disabled have been violated and by Tesco installing the PIN machine on the other side of the cashier’s counter have contravened the “Disability Discrimination Act 2006” and also the “Equality Act 2006”. To help support my case I have taken photos of the location of the PIN machine and intend to present these to any organisation like Age Concern that is prepared to take up the case. In addition, I will be notifying my MP and any other interested parties should I receive no response from Tesco in the foreseeable future..

[FONT=&quot]I would like to see Tesco change the location of the PIN machines and issue a public apology as in addition to myself, probably many other people are affected by the location of the PI.

I think that covers about all and is a firm polite letter to CS!

Did you ask if the PIN machine could be moved closer?

He might not, but he will have executive assistants who will, and who have the authority of the Big Man when they cascade it down to the minions.

I post about my experience at a Tesco store and all I get are rude sarcastic remarks from people whose intellect is probably below average and who have nothing better to do than troll through posts to harrass people. The PIN machine could not be moved by myself or any member of staff due to design. As for the pathetic remark from some mealy mouth poster about my MP, it doesn't even warrant a reply.
No wonder people leave MSE in droves due to very unhelpful, sarcastic, uncaring, possibly low intellect people villifying them at every opportunity.
