Help got virus, cant access desktop pc UPDATE, pls advise

    You would not have to see turn off thing,it just lets Hitman run.

    Only cookies found so you really need to sit comfortably, relax and work through that Bleeping computer link.

    It's really not difficult.

    Have you run a Malwarebytes in normal desktop mode?

    Wasn't sure if you just ran it in safe mode or from the desktop, if you ran it just in safe mode then you will have to do a scan from the desktop.

    Also if you are finding the nasties keep reapppearing even after removing anything Malwarebytes finds then your system restore files may be infected in which case you might have to turn off system restore and run a Malwarebytes scan again.
    I would leave doing this just now, follow the instructions from bleeping computer first and see how you get on.

    That's okay, Malwarebytes is more effective if run from normal desktop mode than in safe mode.

    Click MAIN MENU then DO A SYSTEM SCAN AND SAVE A LOGFILE(Takes seconds) then post the log so we can see whats running
    (do NOT do anything else with Hijack but scan and post the FULL log)
    If you get a message that you cant write to the hosts file then Press the SHIFT key, and whilst holding it RIGHT CLICK and select RUN AS (admin)

    reboot

    Shut down your anti virus
    Follow the simple instructions it gives
    Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be) ~ if there are loads of 'SNAPSHOT' pages then leave them out

    If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download
    (If no log comes up or you lose it, COMBOFIX.TXT can be found in C drive)

    When I got a virus that wouldn't go away (and not even Windows Defender or Search and Destroy could see it), I updated Malware bytes and ran it in Safe Mode (press F8 when the PC is booting up).

    I chose no network mode and re-ran the scan. It picked it up and - because this virus couldn't run in Safe mode - allowed me to fully delete it. Worthwhile trying to delete it in Safe Mode as the virus has limited or no access to regenerate itself on your PC.

    Follow the simple instructions it gives
    Post the COMPLETE log it creates here (Split into sections if need be) ~ if there are loads of 'SNAPSHOT' pages then leave them out

    If it comes up with a RENAMING error then RIGHT click the exe file and RENAME and call it QWERTY (Making the complete file name 'QWERTY.exe') Or SAVE as 'QWERTY' on download
    (If no log comes up or you lose it, COMBOFIX.TXT can be found in C drive)
