Typing on iPhone so bear with me! Last night while browsing web a virus alert alert & I thought it was my virus system, but it was the virus programme infiltrating itself on my Pc. Now it won't let me switch on the Pc, well it will switch on but won't let me do anything, just wants me to purchase software off them! To clean my Pc, my own antivirus told me last night this is what it does & it's a virus doing the rounds. I
I'm not very tech minded, do I need to take it somewhere or can I fix it?

you can fix it , you need access to another pc (friends ??)
download all variants of Rkill
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic308364.html
you may need to try all of them before you find one that works
download malwarebytes
http://www.filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/
and its update file
http://data.mbamupdates.com/tools/mbam-rules.exe
and combofix in case you need it later
http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/combofix/how-to-use-combofix
put them ALL on a usb drive or burn to a CD on the other pc
run Rkill first
then install malwarebytes , then run the update file
do a full scan with malwarebytes and fix all it finds , then post the log file it produces at the end back here(you will probably have internet access etc back on the infected pc by then
only run combofix if I or AlienRik tells youEx forum ambassador
