She can use them fine. Has done for 6 months. When she was a bit younger she was carried down in the morning but I've been explaining for months that she's too heavy and mummy has a poorly back so can't carry her. She accepted this and was happy for us to hold hands instead. It's like a control thing now, I left her up there whinging and she's bumped down on her bottom and is now happily playing.
She's also picking up stuff from DS, like his need to be first. She now wants to be first and they end up bickering.

Will make an effort to ignore the bad behaviour and increase the positive praise (which I do to an extent already but I shall do even more) and she's going in the pushchair regardless from now on. She'll whinge but tough.

Thanks for all your advice and comments. You lot rock :D

when i was working, in our 2-3yrs room, we had a sign up on the wall just saying cause and effect. just as a reminder that if they see there behaviour makes you change yours they'll continue doing it. trouble was 16 two yrs old outnumbered 4 adults :rotfl:

WMF that rugby result was an embarrassment

I thought the rugby result was pretty good myself :p:p *runs and hides from jackieg* :rotfl:

((((hugs)))) to all those with PITA kids at moment, hope they improve soon!
Tru - Well done to Mr Tru :)

It's wet and windy here too :( shame as yesterday was lovely. I was hoping to go out for coffee and a walk with metal boy later but maybe we shall just have to have an inside date instead ;).

I have lots I need to do today. Sort out some more paperwork, it just keeps appearing! I want to try and get some quotes for my trip to NZ and nearby places later in the year. I also need to look at my finances too.

I will be away Mon - Thurs with work, so need to pack and pop to shops to get some yummy food to hid from the work kids :rotfl:.

OS wise - WM is on, DW will go on after breakfast. Must tidy and put away laundry, and clean kitchen surfaces.

I got my electric bill yesterday (I'm all electric no gas) and I was very pleasantly surprised to find that it was exactly the same price as the same quarter last year :j, and bear in mind that last year I was away for a month of the quarter so used very little electric then! :D I pay by DD so I'm actually in credit by £10!

    Have a great day all

Wet and miserable here! Definitely got my days mixed this weekend - did the baking and HW yesterday to leave today free for a nice walk and look at the weather :(

WM will need to go but no real OS I don't think. It will have to a study and 'me' day :). Will probably find some decluttering to do too.

Mushrooms and something for brekkie, soup for lunch and salmon for dinner.

    Happy Sunday

DH and i slept on the sofa as forcast-i saw all the football through my broken sleep and the tv being on-just got up and its nearly 11am. i was Mr Grumpy last night due to forgetting some of my medicine yesterday so i hope to do better today!

The day is bright and sunny with no plans to do anything spectacular. i really ought to get out of my PJs today because i need a new cord!!! i would go to the gym if DH would join me but she seems to be attracted to the tv at the moment. she has been to work every day whereas i have wondered around the homestead for the past 3 days(with and without cord)-i feel like i am going stir crazy!--No football on tv til 6pm local time unless i get engrossed in some İtalian french or German game--it really is a man's world at the weekend!--DH confessed to me after 4 years of marriage that she lied to me from the outset by saying she enjoyed football--it was in her master man to make me think she was/is the perfect woman!!-do i have ground for divorce?(maybe i should start a new thread because it is really 'pressing' me!)
Kathy will get back to me with some prices about the work on my flat later--i argued with my family in the uk last night on skype because they have all said i should sell my uk home--they have changed their minds because my BİL who every one thinks is 'he who knows everything' has put the seed of doubt in their mind'!--last summer everyone was telling me i couldnt sell it because i needed the security--i was wanting to sell it then! but now i want to improve it they do a 180!--my BİL has loads of homes and property and everyone thinks he is 'god' of wisdom but my wife sees him as a tradesman who has been lucky but will always have 'dirty' nails!--his trade is upholstery but he has developed other strands due to his practical ability --my wife only rates brains by a degree or doctorate and a job in academia!--i used to admire him but she is opening my eyes to his limitations when i go home!--my wife has 2 degrees with doctorates in subjects not connected to the work she does as an English teacher--archeology and physics! she was lecturing in archeology when i met her!-so she has just a modicum of intelligence lol
Anyhow i waffle on!--i like anything i own to be as perfect as i can get it when it comes to homes--its the English obsession i think and i note from lots of your mails how you are continually decorating and doing things to improve your homes!-my home in turkey is the first place i have ever had that i have enjoyed as a family man and i love improving it--before it has just been for profit! so i can now understand the real intrinsic value of home improvement--we just need double glazing here to be complete but to be honest it isnt really essential in this climate!--the only doubt about my uk home is that we really dont use it enough and it makes more sense to let it out if i dont sell! anyone want to rent a flat lol
    mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.
