I use the above router- all worked fine, turned on laptop this afternoon and it wont connect. Checked router- and blue wireless light is not on. Have tried turning off and on again- no joy. The PC it is connected to works fine- guess that it is wired through it but laptop and iPhone aren't connecting?
AFAIK nothing has changed since last night
Am I going to need a new router? I don't relish the prospect of having to set it all up again as it wasn't straight forward last time!!

Can you see the wireless network from any of the wireless devices? If not, then it seems the router is not transmitting. Log into the router interface and see what is shown under wireless. If no wireless light is on then it's possible that the wireless function has become disabled-it doesn't mean that your router is necessarily faulty. No free lunch, and no free laptop0

When I turn on laptop it shows my network. But when I go to connect it just fails to connect- the "diagnosis" says may be a hidden network.
Have also tried with my notebook- that also showed the network but wouldn't connect.
I did briefly get a connection- then it dropped off and said low signal and now wont reconnect again.0 -

That's the info on the router set up page- I have to say it means nothing to me0 -
Any clues anyone?0

I'm a little confused as you say in one post that the blue transmit light is not lit but in another you can connect briefly, so not exactly sure of the problem but from what you say you seem to have pinned the fault down to the wireless signal.
As macman says, you can try to connect to the router via a working device. To do this you will have to use your hard wired PC as this is the only device that connects to it. Go into your web browser and in the address bar type 192.168.2.1 (that's the routers IP address). It should then ask you for a user name and password, if you haven't changed this then it should say what it is in your documentation. Once you have done this look for the wireless enabled/disabled bit. If not that then it may be down to interference on the signal from another device. You will be able to change the frequency that the device transmits on, but I'm not sure where, you will have to browse for it.
Is this just a fault with connecting to the router or does it connect sometimes but not connect to the Internet?0 -
Just looked at your manual, if you mean that the wireless light with a PC next to it is not lit then that just means that a wireless device is not connected. Can you elaborate regarding which lights are lit and which are not? Belkin also offer a free support number which is -0845 - 607 77 87. They would be able to talk you though the problem on the phone.
Hope this helps.0 -

All lights are lit apart from the wireless light (Which would light up when laptop/other is connected)
When I turn Laptop on it normally automatically connects- but today it hasn't. It briefly connected but by the time I got downstairs it had disconnected. I don't get how it can have a low signal- which is what is said at that time- it's not moved, nothing has changed? Now nothing will connect wirelessly- laptop/notebook/iphone so not specific to any device?0
