Well got my court date today, Me V A&L on the 25th May, only 3 wks before I get my money Oddly didn't get a questionnaire

This looks very very promising here. I phoned Wragg & Co, Just to enquire if they got my list of charges I sent, as you know what these people are like. She said have Alliance & Leicester not been in touch? No I said, She said oh right, I'll get someone to ring you back ASAP to discuss

Hopefully they have settled

Hi to everyone - I have just received a 7 page Defence response from the A&L informing me that I have no real prospects of succeeding. They are using the Civil Procedure Rules Part 3.4 and Part 24.2 I am claiming about £2,500 so they are none too happy. Anyone know what these Rules are?

I sent my first request letter 2 weeks ago with a £10 cheque and its not been cashed yet.. i wish id sent it recorded delivery now... ill keep an eye to so how you get on as your a few weeks in front of me..

Jumped the gun a bit to soon, They never phoned back so I phoned A+L to see what was up, they looked through the case and said we made you an offer and it was declined so its going to court:mad:

Hi, I wonder if anyone can help...my boyfriend got a letter on the 25th of april from wragge & co stating that A&L are defending, we never received a court allocation questionnare and the MCOL claim page is still saying aknowledged.
He phoned MCOL this morning and they said A&L haven't put in a defence and have untill midnight tonight to do so, but I have just read on here about this paragraph 10 in the defence papers, his doesn't say anything about him sending them a list of charges, they sent a list of charges with the letter, do we need to send anything, is this the reason why they have not told MCOL they're putting a defence in? Thank you!

I rang the solictors today and spoke to the secretary to see if i need to send in my list of charges as a&l have been sent these already and according to clause 10, we need to need to send charges to wragge, she said that the woman dealing with my case was out out of the office today will ring me tomorrow, i will be ringing her back myself tomorrow and will find out what happens next, so will keep you all informed, thanks again

They phoned me back tonight. A senor partner by the name or Mr Sargent, wouldn't play ball at all, just went over the same speil as the banks about the charges.

I don't think they are going to make an offer, I reckon its court.
