it is quite normal for them to acknowledge, they have to do that to buy more time, but dont panic, they will pay up within about 14 days. You will be fine.

sorry no idea about Scotland, but i would expect its onto MCOL isn't it? Edinburghlass will undoubtedly know.

but i put my claim in on MCOL on Saturday ( on my mums card cos it wouldn't accept visa electron)

I may have to split my claim as in Scotland you can only claim £750 through small claims.

edinburghlass, can you go through a solicitor? I am on benifits so would I be entitled to legal aid?
