Am I reading that right? Between 4 receipts you have been overcharged by £100? I'm not doubting you but that's incredibly worrying! I do have a look to see if I can see anything that's been overpriced, but only individually, I never add everything up.

No! I had initially checked 4 reciepts and was overcharged on all of them and when I had more time, began to check the rest of them. Customer services manager has since called me back and tried to explain the error but I again, have pointed out that the overcharging occurs on the sub-total on the website, as well as the reciept email and the form that is handed over after the shopping has been delivered.

The guy I spoke to agrees with me and has passed my complaint on to the head office to be reviewed.

I have been refunded for the spoiled groceries on the last order.

The one thing I had to argue about and try to get my point across to the customer services guy was the fact that He said the prices instore change and that ASDA have put a disclaimer on their terms and conditions to reflect the fact that the prices change from day to day. This still does not explain why my shopping does not add up on the very day I order it.

Also, He tried to tell me the prices were never accurate and they state this on the site so ASDA DO give only an estimate.

It's funny that these 'estimates' are always higher than the actual price and not lower.

I did not say Tesco would be any better but I have to try some alternatives out. I'm certainly no advocate for Tesco. I have not tried the place yet but, to be honest, after the way ASDA have behaved, I have nothing to lose. I will also be trying out others. Trial and error I suppose.

I can say for sure, that I will never ever shop at ASDA again.
  • My shopping instore receipt is overcharged by £1:50p what a cheek shall go see the manager next time i'm instore.

My online shopping delivery has been overcharged by almost £3 today!

I got an email with the shopping list saying what I'd ordered and the price (as per what I'd ordered online), but I've just checked my list given with to me with the delivery, and two items have been charged at a higher price! Very sneaky!

What's worse, I STILL have the phone attached to my ear, as I've so far been on hold for 21 minutes just to get a refund, as the women I'm speaking to can't work it out, as she can obviously only see the latter item list, rather than the one I ordered with!

It may *only* be £3, but once a week would make that £150 a year, which would pay my yearly car insurance!

EDIT: After 24 minutes, they finally agree with me and I'm getting a refund!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
  • I still have not had a refund, despite calling customer services at least 6 times and emailing using their website and also emailing the CEO.

Really feel let down and unvalued as a customer :-(

Yea, as I stated in my earlier post, the manager at my local Asda where I ordered from couldn't fathom this out. Gave me a bottle of wine, hoping I would go away. I did. But it still amazes me that a major retail supermarket (one of the big four) could not give an explaination as to why this happened in the first place. That's all I was looking for. An Answer.

Ah Asda. About 7 months ago ASDA charged my partner twice for shopping, of course Asda deny this but even bank statements show this. Asda looked into it and wasn't bothered and still are not. The complaint I sent in on her behalf STILL hasn't been sorted out despite promises that it would.

Thankfully when Asda did this it was only a small shop that had been done (£32.00) but still it's not on
  • Despite ASDA Customer Services Manager (What He claimed to be) promising to hand my complaint on to head office and agreeing that there was a serious issue and that I would get a phonecall within a few days, I have not recieved any such call nor an email back from CEO of ASDA. I want my money back ASDA!! Ignoring me will not make this all go away.

I have also posted this on Facebook and on their public ASDA pages and I will continue to make everyone aware that ASDA is overcharging inncocent people all over the Country.

I want the £100 + that does not belong to ASDA theiving scum that could be better spent on my children.
