harduphester, that's a brilliant tip for any low cut top!
nmlc, congrats on the loss and being so active
morning all, really didn't want to get out of bed today. Have 15 minutes to get my slap on and eat some porridge, hopefully without confusing the two as I have been known to turn up with porridge in my hair :rotfl: Got two hours of lab work before I can collect my results, have a feeling I might have some not-so-hot scores so will be well up for getting sozzzzlllleddd tonight!
Got a pear and cereal bar for my snack lunch, it's so stuffy on campus you don't want to eat much. And hm fish chowder for dinner again, it's the 5/6th meal i've had from that batch this week, meal plan went out the window as that one cheap slow cooker chowder has lasted so long!Living cheap in central London :rotfl:0 -

Morning :hello:
Redruby, I'm glad your dad is eating well
Mrs MH
I haven't worn a bra for 2 weeks, the strap lies on the nerve and is really painful. Hopefully I can wear one again in a few days, it's a pain having to really think about what top to wear before I can leave the house
I've been cutting my shopping bill right down, last week I spent £44 and something pence (can't remember exactly). Not bad for 4 adults
I won't be able to keep it that low every week, but I was impressed with myself nonetheless
Morrisons Value food is better than all the other supermarket Value ranges IMO. I had Value weetabix for breakfast, not bad at all. The one thing I won't downgrade is chicken, it's free-range or none so I'm not buying it very often now. Everything is being cleaned with washing up liquid, I use Value washing powder and fabric softener (they work out cheaper than homemade and vinegar). I have quite a stockpile of Value loo rolls
So, no OS from me, but a lot of frugalness

I love Fridays. DH and I always share a bottle of wine and snuggle up on the couch with DS3 and watch a movie. Priceless:)

MrsMH - (((hugs)))
RR - glad your Dad is eating well now he's at home, hope he's not poorly again x x
Been a busy bee this morning so far. WM is on, kitchen floor cleaned, Fridge soup bubbling away on the stove, Beef Stew in the slow cooker for DH and DS tonight - quick tidy up through the house.
Need to menu plan and do a shopping list for the mroning.
Off to work later, got an evening out taking a service user to a fifties evening organised by the local Snoozelen with food and live music so should be a nice night.:)
Trying to shift DS1 from his bed to take the car to the garage:mad: he was up half the night on his phone and laptop so no wonder he's tired today.
thats about it from me x xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning All,
Had a lie in until 8.30 as its helf term break here until Wednesday, so DS1 got him and his DB up and sorted their breakfasts :A I am sitting here drinking a lovely cuppa he made me too. We'll see how long it is until the novelty wears off! :rotfl: Nothing planned for the day really, altough the boys want to go to the movies and we have half price tickets Monday to Friday at the local cinema - its a bit dingy but I can suffer that if it saves me £16! So we'll probably do that when OH gets up as he has tonight off. I am about to make some granary rolls and white rolls and possibly some pitta breads, we are having HM chilli for dinner tonight and bean Quesadillas for lunch.
Mrs MH hope you are OK, it was really brave of you to post something so difficult yesterday, hopefully it will be what you need to start the road to recovery.
Redruby glad to hear dad is a bit happier, what a shame his resistence is so low, is he taking a multivitamin?
nmlc well done on the weight loss
tru that's an impressive food bill for four adults. I am running on an almost empty kitchen just now, and am almost at the stage of needing everything, but I can't face the supermarket
I did do a big list last week on my supermarket but I haven't done it yet. I will need to try and squeeze it in tonight
Not much else to say, hope everyone is keeping safe.
Hugs hi fives a and spoons to everyone who wants them.

Hi All ,
Have been so busy recently but something was telling me that I must log in today - that's when I found a PM from MSD's partner, telling me of her sad passing. I won't go over it again, as I've read some of your tributes on the thread but needless to say I am shocked and saddened by this news too
.
Anyway, those of you who remember me will know that I'm pregnant and will be pleased to hear that I am massive with an active bump! I'm now 25 weeks and am currently trying to restrain myself from buying too many clothes simply because they're cute! (That's not an MSE enough reason I'm sure :rotfl:) My legend of a Mum has her knitting needles out and poised but she has to keep hiding it from DH as he doesn't know what sex we're having! Mum and I do
Hopefully everyone is well, congratulations, and comiserations where I have missed them - I hope to be posting more regularly once again after next week.

good morning to all that have come before me and those that come after!---
Tried to ring my mum and got no reply--she is 81 today and a bit deaf so i expect she didnt hear the phone! only time i get response is when my father is in the house which isnt much during the day because he is a keen moocher in the garden--i got up up late, 10,45 here -8,45 there so my dad would have been out by then!--if she's reading--happy birthday mum!
İ am going to school today because i am tired of feeding myself at home--i just have to raise my teenage daughter from her slumber. i have had chris evans on full blast while i showered upstairs but still no sign and ken bruce has started now!-i just counted myself in for lunch at work so there is no rush but it is11,50 and i have skipped breakie.
We are sorting out school finances today because i have yet to be paid and the school rent is overdue--women seem to think when they have cash in hand in business it is available to spend!--there have been lots of minor improvements at school but nothing is more important than the rent.--its not the first time and my wife still carries a personal loan from the bank on behalf of the school from last summer( our partner has a worst credit rating of anyone that is not in jail and the banks wouldnt loan to us as a business because of the her)--my wife's rating is high because i have seen to that in the past 5 years!--fortunately there is enough portable saleable assets to cover the loan----eg an electronic piano and air cons!--i feel like stamping my authority on the pair of them but its not worth the upset but this is the last time i wait for my pay!
i hope i will get home early tonight to be sat down again writing more meanderings so until then have a great day and may all your problems be little ones Greg xxmfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0
