Glad to hear your DD is home and on the mend too
Thanks PD, I have made a short thread asking for some of their experience and asked a couple of questions.Glad to hear about your DD. We don't really know what to do when mortgage free, holidays, moving etc - everything seems so extravagant, and a bit our of our comfort zone!
thanks EG, yeah DD is putting on weight now and seems much happier.
It will be such a nice dilemma to have though wont it!

Good question.. Don't really know yet.. The one I drove was white..
I like the black and white ones... But saw one the other day, all black with grey stripes along the body, and that looked good too...
What is your post MFW car?

See white cars look nice when clean, but since I HATE cleaning my car i think I would have to go for black.
MMmm post MFW car, I think I would go for an M3 for town driving and the weekly shop whilst maybe some 2 seater for the weekend :rotfl:

Got very little done last night as it was football night.
However each night this week the OH and myself will be sorteing out all the bits for the car boot.
Bit of a dilemma though, noticed last night the back door and the window is pretty rotten. I was able to poke my thumb straight through the paint work and into the wood... I knew when I moved in that new windows and doors were needed but had hoped they would be okay for a few years longer....
I am tempted to get a couple firms out to quote so I can at least see how big the damage is going to be.

Yes very post MFW as they are so uneconomical for town driving anyway. I would steer you away from one as I wouldn't touch one with a barge pole after we had an unlucky very high maintenance one. On BMW's ..I love the m6 in black - classy and very very sexy.
I personally love this : http://www.google.co.uk/imgres?imgurl=http://diecast-vintage-cars.com/img/3/511/1.jpg&imgrefurl=http://diecast-vintage-cars.com/product/3/AA73118/2007-Mustang-Shelby-Gt-Diecast-Car-Model-118-Black-With-Silver-Stripes-Die-Cast-Car-By-Autoart.html&usg=__pwlLqxMpTvyiqL2ThbrITlFbII8=&h=240&w=320&sz=12&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=BGGCJSvAX9zzWM:&tbnh=162&tbnw=229&ei=sNOvTdDBC4u28QPl3cTwCw&prev=/search%3Fq%3Dmustang%2Bblack%2Bsilver%2Bstripe%26hl%3Den%26sa%3DX%26rlz%3D1C1SKPC_enGB378GB378%26biw%3D1366%26bih%3D643%26tbm%3Disch%26prmd%3Divnsfd&itbs=1&iact=hc&vpx=1069&vpy=90&dur=4051&hovh=192&hovw=256&tx=155&ty=61&page=1&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:4,s:0 Black with a silver stripe. Oh yes mustangs are nice too, I saw one parked up by my local chippy just the other day.
Well my car can be a 2 seater because if we all have to go in one car then we have to go in the OH's galaxy because of the car seats. Otherwise they can walk :rotfl:

I assume it was the chippy he/she had gone too, there is a post office and a local co-op too. But i like the idea of him "popping" out to the chippy in it
We try to make the kids walk whenever we can, problem is they soon get tired and I end up having to carry them both!
Anybody watch CH4 super scrimpers? most of it is a bit of tosh but last nights reminded me that I need to put a brick or ice cream carton into my toilet cisterns.
Also going to get a few quotes for the double glazing and new doors. Then I think I am going to slowly chip away at getting the work done. Least once I have a quote I can plan it in.

try the GGF, they have energy calculators, you put in the energy type the windows A/B/C rated etc and it calculates for you

sashmanBuying quality goods which last, should be an investment that saves money. :T
Buying cheap products which fail, wastes money and costs twice as much in the long run. :mad:0
