So glad she is doing better. What a little fighter. They do bounce back well when they start getting better. I try to always be positive too and have faith in medicine. Hopefully she will improve enough to be home soon.

  • Many thanks ladies, she will have the ecg taken off tonight too and they are suggesting she might be allowed home during the day as long as she goes back in on the night.

Although they are going to train the OH how to resuscitate a child..... which is a bit worrying

Just look on it as if your OH learns resuscitation, you will be benefitting 3 children with that knowledge, and she is learning it for free rather than paying for the course.

Sounds sensible to take her in overnight so they can monitor and you can rest without worrying about her stopping breathing again. It will all be over soon by the sounds of it.

These things are sent to try us, and you have coped so well with it.
  • Good news all around :-). Hope everything stays ok!

Great news LP. Training your OH is noting to worry about, quite common and i believe all registered child care professionals need to learn it so a just in case. Really IMO it's something that every parent should know/learn.

    Thanks again guys.

They are currnelty waiting on the ECG results, but one Dr. today said it might be a case that they simply can't find out whats wrong and her low heart rate might just be normal to her.

Whooping cough results came back negative even though the nurses and one of the doctors don't believe it.... so god knows what she had originally. its all a big mystery.

Need to stay behind after work today to parcel up all my music magpie orders as they have been sat here for a while now.

Also been looking at my OP target and I am going to aim for the max 10% I am allowed. So £19,500 is my new target for this year which should be possible if I start taking my work bonsus out (currently I re-invest it into the business).

Decided to really go for it, and my long term target is now to be MF by the time im 35. So thats 8 years. Going to put other projects on a back foot (New windows and doors, garage conversion, new garage etc) until after we become MF.

Also I keep trying to get the OH to come on the forums but she is reluctant.... I think she is too engrossed in FB when at home to come on here too.
