    Thanks for the concern folks.

Yesterday was a much better day, they took her feeding tube out and for 90% of the day she wasn't on any oxygen. She still has the odd scare with her sats and heart rate but it doesn't last long.

We are hoping she can come home by next weekend.

    Thanks Missc,

I have just spoken with the OH (as I am back at work now) and she is fully off the oxygen and they would have let her come home in the next day or two but now her heart is worrying them. She had a ECG earlier and the consultant wants another opinion. It is definitely whooping cough and he wants to double check that is the reason for her heart rate dips (From 150ish down into the 70's).

Now to look at starting to get back onto the MSE side of things, I am hoping to look into how much money we currently spend via card, cash which is not spent using a cashback card.

  • Also seems she has started having seizures which they are not happy about (obviously) so tomorrow she is going to be hooked up to some monitor to read her brain activity.

All seems to happen at once, least hospital is best place for her.
