Thanks for the concern guys. Been up at the hospital all day, she took another turn for the worse last night.

They have ruled everything out which leaves us with whooping cough (3 weeks away from the 8 week vacination). Seems it can be a deadly infection that can last up to 3 months!

She keeps stopping breathing when she falls into a deep sleep, has to be tube fed and has owygen via nose tubes (that has helped keep her stats at 100). If however they drop again they want to move her to another more specialist hospital.

I think the next day or two are vital to see if she stabalises or gets worse.

My goodness hon, sounds nasty. I bet you are frazzled. I hope you have some good support around you both to help with the other two. I will keep you in my prayers tonight. Poor little girl. Best wishes to you all.

Took the other LO's to see her today as they had been asking where mumm and Sophie were.

She had a good night and whilst she hasn't got any better she hasn't really got much worse either. So we are hoping for another couple of days of stablising and then recovery.

Ho Froggy,

She has stayed pretty much the same, coughing less though which is good but she does keep forgetting to breath when sleeping which is a worry.

They tried taking her off oxygen today but she only lasted an hour.

Looking good though.

Have only just caught up - so sorry to hear your DD is poorly, i hope she is on the mend soon. What a worrying time for you.
