Thanks SSS, I guess another day or two and things should be a fair amount clearer.
MSE related, does anybody have any experience with the MBNA 1.5% cashback credit card?
https://wwwa.mbna.co.uk/apply/UKCCapp/Ctl/entry?sc=7amcbfeb1_sax&mc=ECO-UK-33333-13139

"The higher cash back earn rate of 1.5% can only be earned at retailers categorised as supermarkets or petrol stations with the payment network on which the card is issued. At the time of writing they included the physical and/or online grocery stores of Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda, Morrisons, Waitrose, Ocado, the physical stores of Iceland and Somerfield, and BP, Shell, Esso, Texaco, Q8, Jet and supermarket petrol stations, but excluded Marks and Spencer, Tesco Direct, Tesco Homeplus, Farm Foods and Spar and all other retailers, which will earn the lower cash back rate of 0.75%. Full terms and conditions of the cash back programme will be sent to you once your account is opened"
This is in the T&Cs so yes but its a lower rate.I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -

It's o.k, I scan read everything!
I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your other question though. I've never used a c/b card, but plan too.
How's things?I can't be bothered updating this anymore0 -

I have several small steps that I should be taking but keep on delaying and cb cc is just one of them!
Trying to carry on as normal, so DS is back to nursery tomorrow and hopefully I will have a full day at work (got plenty to catch up on). Hopefully end of the day DD will have had her heart and brain scan and the fits and heart rate will simply be linked to whooping cough and nothing more.

You have a lot on your plate at the moment though so that's to be expected.

Just got caught up on your news, how awful for you all. My DS had a spell when he was 6 weeks of forgetting to breathe and stayed in for a week having various tests and monitoring so I empathize with you. Hope all works out okay xxTrying to do one positive thing (however how small) per day to be mortgage free/reduced and be frugal but still enjoy life!Debt LBM Feb 2010 = £7841.97/ now £0, MFW 2011 = £9k in savings
