Have I won a holiday or is it a scam?

oooh I won a completely free holiday for four from Vouch4me. All I had to do was call 0800 008 6115 to claim it.
Yeah right.
This was actually the 2nd time thay have called; and they wanted to know why I hadn't followed up last weeks notification.
If I wasn't at work I'd have told them quite forceably.
BTW I can hear Martin Lewis on 6 Music right now!0 -
Oh happy days, I just won a 2nd prize holiday for 4 to Europe as part of the companies 21st anniversary, all I had to do was call an 0800 no. Did I do that? Ofcourse not!
Thanks for this post!0 -

I thought I read on here little while ago that this was a scam, and the number you called was a premium rate number?
The number does start 0800
Have I won or is it a scam?
I had this call today as well, claiming to be from a survey I entered at "Greaseypalm".
They said I had won a holiday as it was their 21st Anniversary, which means that 11 years have passed since they called the OP! :rotfl:
Thanks to this site (& Google!) i won`t be following it up. :T_________________________________:starmod: Please do not feed the trolls! :starmod::beer:0 -
Me too- same old!
Everything I have Googled recently has led to this site so here I am with my first post! Thanks to everyone who contributes to this and all the other threads- helping us all through the minefield!!!0 -
I'm very late to this party but - me too!
We went to grand designs a few weeks ago, filled in various competition forms as you do. Several non-messages on my answerphone this week (always very suspicious) and then finally picked up the phone to be told that I'd won a holiday. The firm was CLC exhibitions 'endorsed by Jenny Bond' (really???). I didn't have to give them info as they had it already, but when they ask you to phone another number it's suspicious (not to mention the are you married questions and so on). Jumped straight onto Google and found this thread!!0 -
I had this phone call too Denise. I went to the Grand Designs and thought I was entering a competition for a holiday to Cornwall. It was very misleading and I have emailed Grand Designs about it.0

Hi Hamsam, I wondered whether to say anything to GD about it, but haven't got 'round to it (as usual!)0

Did a"holiday survey" on the street in Harrogate on Oct 5th. Given a slip for 2minutedraw.On the back, said draw would be on 15th of each month- didn't even realise I'd entered a draw.Got the phone call last night- Oct 10th- there's not been a 15th since I did the "survey"!. To win, I phone 08009889901, with an alphanumeric code.Googled this- warnings about Club Costa. Needless to say, shan't bother ringing. Thanks everyone.0

We just had a call from CLC offering us a free holiday off the back of a competition form we filled in on the way in to the ski and snowboarding show. Having read this thread we won't bother ringing the 0800 number0
