I did not know this, but there were still too many other discrepancys with the website, such as there was no registered business number to be seen on the website whilst it was still up.
I`ll be watching to see how many people who have concerns about this come forward to say they have had refunds, and TBH i`ll only really be intrested in the ones which i have already read to have problems on this forum and a few other web based chat protocals Ive seen.0 -
Is there a requirement for a registered business number to be on a website in the Republic of Ireland?triffid123 wrote: »...there was no registered business number to be seen on the website whilst it was still up.
Is there even a registered business number in the Republic of Ireland?
I don't know the answers, but just pointing out that you seem to basing your judgement on this company on things that are expected in the UK.

I have no idea either, but im simply pointing out the things i looked for on their website and always look for on other web sites before trying a web based company im unsure of. One or two of the small things dont worry me if i can find some sort of referances about them and in this case i could not, but put together mounting indescrepincys and ill look elsewhere.....in this case my suspicions were well founded and I did the absolute right thing.0

There is an Irish equivilent of "Companies house" that we have in the UK.

You won't find anything for Redstar on there, as they appear to be registered in another country and simply have an office in Ireland.

The web page is now showing blank, it was up this morning but has gone now. It did say before it went down that they were going to post more news today, so i hope for the sake of the people involved with giving redstar imports their money that it is down because they are posting the payment news they said they would today. Only time will tell though.0

I don't know why my last post was deleted. The address I put in there was pulled from another thread and is now posted by daddycool75. I used googlemaps on that address and looks like a residential address. Anyone living in dublin, could you visit?
So now redstar are paying out for orders beggining with 09, does that mean that it had failed to deliver on orders for 2009, but continued? Thier number system reflects dates orders were placed.0 -
Actually, its number 1001, and I can't see a 1001 number on clontarf road0
