wow it has taken is AGES to catch up with the thread from when I posted last week! Well done to everyone, great that you're all making consistent losses :T WI on Friday & it was a sts at 9st 2.5lbs - however I think it was a loss as I fell off the wagon for several weeks and refused to weigh myself until I had been bac on the plan for a week!

Miraculously I haven't used all of my weeklies over the weekend (:o for my usual style of gluttony at the weekends!) so I have 25 left until Thursday :T I feel rich! I think that what I need to do in the week before TOTM is spread the weeklies over the week instead of using them all in one go as I am ravernous for about 4 days each month.

I've recently made bacon & potato frittata for 6pp for tea which was delish & served with a salad (and also very money saving!)

I also made this http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=336033 which in the quantities I made it in it worked out at 5pp per portion. definitely recommend :D

I would highly recommend the chilli recipe that flyin_fresian posted a while back. I cooked it yesterday in the slow cooker, but using only 200g mince, and I'd forgotten how yummy it is, and you can make it go further with extra peppers etc.

I've made it too  a tip I picked up from the ww site is where you would have rice or mash substitute some for mashed cauliflower - its a wicked piece of advice! So I use 100gs of rice for 4pp & then suplement with cauliflower - feels like a bounty of carbs

    Debt-free and Proud!
Namakemono - I'm afraid to say I can beat your christening amount of points - yesterday I had a MASSIVE 77 points!!!!:eek::eek:

It all started well - boiled eggs n toast for brekkie and a reasonable sandwich and apple for lunch. It went a large bit off tangent when I went to Dobbies and had the biggest scone with cream I've ever seen. Then as it was hubbys birthday for dinner we had his fave steak pie and then banoffee toffee cake. (Actually had the cake first and dinner later as was soooo stuffed). So thats all my weeklies gone in one single day....heyho

Every had a really clear insight why you are overweight?? lol

  • Hi everyone, can I join in? :)

After loads of faffing finally joined weight watchers online on Friday. Have been trying to lose some weight for a while now, mostly through extra exersise (wii fit, walking to work etc) but didnt seem to be working (managed to gain 4lb after 2 weeks of 30mins step most nights) so thought i'd try WW as seems to have worked for friend of mine.
Joined up, then proceeded to have a huge chinese on Saturday, so used up loads of my dailies there! Still feeling my way around the points system atm, its all new to me!
Well done everyone with your losses, I hope to be able to join you shedding the lbs soon! Haven't really got a goal weight in mind, would like to drop a dress size, but first i'll be working on fitting back into THOSE jeans that used to be tight, but did fit... :o
    Good luck everyone!

    Xmas Saver!
Haven't posted for a little while but lost another pound today and am finally under 11 stone :j

Had a few naughty nights recently when we had takeaway but tried to be good. Bit hard though with my hubbies birthday and the lovely chocolate birthday cake I made him on Thursday though! ;)

Although I don't feel smaller, I tried on a top I bought a couple of months ago, which didn't fit when I got it, and wore it yesterday and it fitted fine! Just wish the weight would fall off quicker than the odd pound or 2 every few weeks :(

But received my ww shop and eat out books I got from Ebay today so going to try to be better, now I have no excuse when I buy food!
:j Is MSE saving me money, or making me spend more on all the bargains?!:j

I'm off home today, back on the wagon tonight (or maybe tomorrow...)

Will WI tomorrow though as always do it in the mornings.

My valiant efforts to stay vaguely on track came unstuck last night in the form of chicken, chips and a cheese naan from the takeaway! Only had literally a handful of chips but i think the naan was the most damaging :/

I start a new job next week, so went to Mr A and bought a couple of skirts and one has to go back because its too BIG! Now I know sizing can be a bit iffy, but I'm taking that as a positive.

Before you head for the nearest mall to purchase your very own pair of ugg Australia boots , stop for a moment and ask yourself, I seen these boots before??If you are college-aged or younger, you have seen these boots everywhere including on the Internet, in store catalogues, and in stores themselves.

    er ok then... :spam:
