Now for posts like this I wish there was a "like" button like on Facebook rather than a "thanks" one. I would be liking this, but as there isnt, a thanks will do.0 -
Do you think that people living entirely on benefits should be living in million pound plus houses?
No I don't, but I don't think bigotry and Daily Wail type stereotyping is acceptable behaviour either;):)"there are some persons in this World who, unable to give better proof of being wise, take a strange delight in showing what they think they have sagaciously read in mankind by uncharitable suspicions of them"(Herman Melville)0 -

Good man: And congrats on finally plucking up the courage! Glad it turned out neighbourly...0 -
So the moral of the story is: go speak to your neighbour before posting on MSE as it saves everyone a lot of time and effort

If we all did what the suggestions were in the posts before posting them on here, I guess there would not be much need for the website. Or other people wouldnt have the luxury of seeing what others did or suggested and would still need to post.0 -

Dantheman - ask if you can have wind resistant fencing, I've also heard it called hurricane fencing but all internet searches are bringing up chain link.
Basically you have 3 rails between each post (horizontal) and the slates are put on (vertically) alternately each side of the rails . This allows the wind to pass through without using the battering the panels and hence damaging the fence.
The downside is at a certain angle (about 5-10%) you can see right through the fencing, but its very limited and most people won't sit at that angle to the fence.0
