    Evenin all,

AnW - was shocked to read about the Meadowhell vouchers. Westfield's cards are also a rip-off. I wanted 4 £10 ones for friends at Xmas, but they add a £2 charge for the honour of selling you one! It would've cost me £8 extra - almost another pressie, so I thought sod this for a game of soldiers & gave them cash!

Spent a very productive hour in the garden this afternoon, tidying up the front so you can see the snowdrops better. It was great to be out in the sun.

Tuesday ~ Kitchen and Dining Mess
    :jALL DONE:j

Wednesday ~ Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 1

    Check smoke alarms are working
Remove bed linen and replace with fresh linen
    Declutter the floordrobe
    Level 2
Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs.. make sure to do the bed base.. mine was gross
Vacuum mattress before replacing fresh linen
    15 minutes grotspot clearance
    Level 3
Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing
Sort one area of clothes or linen storage making sure only what should be in there is, anything that's had it's day or doesn't belong there is removed
Defluff and demuck woodwork... skirtings, window frames, door frames dados, picture rails etc

    love to all....

Tuesday list done - tbh most was done on Sunday but I'm still counting it :D. Also WM / lunch / washing up / beds made / fire lit and beasties fed. Will try and clear the washing before beds are stripped tomorrow (still can't believe I'm planning this stuff! Who'dathunkit? :rotfl:).

The Sun was out here today so my planned 5 miles turned into 8 - that's the furthest and fastest I've walked in one go since my teens :j. It's a year today that I had a stem cell transplant so I'm feeling quietly chuffed with myself! My ipod didn't shuffle one duff song the whole way. It felt really good to be aware of the Bigger Picture again instead of focusing on the little things that annoy me sometimes (I think Purple Monday also helped...)

Tonight I'm cooking - Jamie Oliver chicken satay and noodles (but probs not in 30 minutes, like he says:p). I've started using recipe books to try and get my brain back into multi-tasking mode - if it ain't burnt, my brain works :rotfl:

Hope everyone's had a good day. I'll catch up with thread later but off the top of my head...

Lamewolf - hope the pain's eased off now
Poohbear - congratulations! What's the business?
paulies_nixie - life goes on but like the others have said take care of yourselves anyway
Pigpen - hope the hozzy trip was ok
    LL - just (((hugs)))
fingersxed - well done on the gleaming kitchen - I used to hover about mine to stop people making a mess when I'd cleaned it - bit more relaxed now:rotfl:

Take it easy's, well done's, hugs to anyone that wants them xx
    Lose The Beef Challenge :p - start 17.01.11 3.5lbs/60lbs
Tone The Rest Challenge :A - start 17.01.11 Jan 10/14 days Feb 17/28 Mar 4/31
    Buy Less Cr*p Challenge :D - start 01.02.11 Feb £0/£300
    It's not the destination...
.............................. ...it's the glory of the ride!

    Hello
I haven't had a read through yet today but just wanted to share my good news. We have, at last, been accepted for a business loan.:j:j:j

We won't receive it for a few weeks yet but all my hard work on the business plan was worth it.:D

And I have spent a very fruitful hour with a very nice woman from Business link :D

Both the dogs are pestering me to take them out. Wish me luck I haven't done this since last November! A walking stick and two dogs isn't a good combination.:rotfl:
Poohbear I'm so pleased for you; that's a major worry decluttered out of your life.:T:T:T
I hope the woofers behaved themselves on their walk.;)

Mr LW's on his way home:T so I've started the spuds off in the micro, and will put the convection on it a mo to make the outsides nice and tasty. I need to grate some cheese to go with them, too, so I'd better head kitchenwards and get cracking.;)
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

    Poohbear59, fantastic news!! :T:T

Re homework, I tend to have my 8 year old in the same room as me and I potter whilst she works. It works fine for us so far.

Very behind here as my pastor popped in at 5 to talk re my weekend's events; we had a lovely chat but I am a good 45 mins late doing tea!

See you all tomorrow - love, hugs and spoons to everyone x
