Halight butter is getting so expensive now, that I have taken to using Stork for my baking, and for really nice baking, I buy any reduced double cream I find in the shops and making my own butter. I have about eight tubs of butter in the freezer just now, as I got lots of the big pots of cream reduced to 12p each in Mr T a couple of weeks ago. I also have a stock of fabulous organic butter which was reduced to 16p a block around Christmastime too in there. It's what is inside your head that matters in life - not what's outside your windowEvery worthwhile accomplishment, big or little, has its stages of drudgery and triumph; a beginning, a struggle and a victory. - Ghandi0

Morning everyone!
Hope everyone is well today.
I am shattered... been cooking and baking again and don't want to face the mess in the kitchen. But that's 6 batches of pizza dough and 12 batches of sauce done and dusted.
I could sleep now! But Scones still need making and I have to make meat and Potato pie for dinner (and batch make the pastry!)
The boys want to go out too... so maybe after lunch I will take them to a local 'farm' (country park 1900's style farm) for an hour.
Hope everyone has a great day today x

morning!
off to work at 1.30 and not home till 10.30pm so just doing a few jobs this morning. Have taken DS2 to work.
Felt a bit poorly after my stir fry last night - very queasy _pale_ not sure what it was, still not quite right this morning.
Have washed kitchen floor, made bed, hung washing out, second load in machine. Going to have a bit of lunch before I leave, having a roast dinner at work tonight. I've also ironed a few things and need to vac the bedroom.
DH is fitting a new undercupboard light in the kitchen for me later.
Yesterday I bought the paint for the stairs and landing - in dire need of freshening up, also got an extending roller ona long handle for the ceilings. Just need the time and energy now to start!
(((hugs))) to all those in need, hope Halight and Flutterby are feeling better today x
take care all, off to catch up with the thread now xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Bemuzed I shall put pics on my blog later of the raised bed, you can buy 'click together' raised bed sets that would probably be easier.
Great news BB, we won £10 which I promptly spent on Tesco '3 chickens for £10' offer.

Please can anyone enlighten me to Facebook etiquette as Im a bit upset this morning as one of the my so called face book friends has accused me of stalking them because I looked at her pictures. Is this not allowed?
do as Jackie said and block her - we all look at people's pictures and cant all be classed as stalkers!bargainbird wrote: »OMG - I won £52.80 on euro millions on friday and have only just checked :j:T:T -

Hugs xI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -

Afternoon all,(((NPM)))
Molly - wouldn't worry, I always look at peoples photo's.
I too thought people posted photos on facebook for them to be looked at:)
NPM thinking of you. Autism is so difficult to live with. The children can be disrupted by any small change. My DGS was diagnosed at 3. Is there any early bird plus group in your area? We found the early bird course was very useful and the other parents were generally very supportive ( although some were in denial). These special children are very exhausting to cope with 24/7. I do hope Noah gets well enough to go back to school soon.
I must away and go now to baste my chicken. Got to eat before the footy on TV:)
