Morning my lovelies
Still bit breezy here, bit damp but doesn't seem quite so dark today thankfully. Not much going on here, going to take kids to see my mum and dad for their usual visit. Need to make some twinks and perhaps some brownies as no sweet treats left.
Tea will be the usual chicken, spuds and veg. Wow how exciting is my life :rotfl::rotfl:
NPM - Now I know you said no respite care as it stresses him but I know some childminders here offer respite care via the council (as it's the council that pay). Is there anyway of a) trying to see if you can get this service and b) factoring in this to Noah's routine? How did he cope when he first went to the farm and school? Did it take a long time for it to become part of his routine? OK this won't help when he's poorly and I can't see anyway round that. I really wish I lived closer so I could give you a hand. Don't feel bad about moaning, I find my DS draining at the best of times and he's a bit more independant than Noah. xx
Molly - there is an application doing the rounds that shows who's been looking at your pics etc. Are you sure she meant it in the way you've taken it? Stuff said in text doesn't always translate well with out tone or inflection to back it up? Is there any chance she's used this app, seen that you've been looking at her pics (which you're entitled to do otherwise why put them up there) and made a joke about you being a stalker? I am sure it's probably not meant the way it's come accross x Don't fret.
Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good day OS or not.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks
All will be well in the end. If it's not well, it's not the end.Be humble for you are made of earth. Be noble for you are made of stars0 -
Morning All,
EssexGirl so sorry to hear your news, good wishes for your family, xxx
Molly tell her I said she's a prat, and delete and block her, I had a FB friend who couldn't decide whether she wanted to talk to me or not and kept adding and deleting me, so I've given up on her childish nonsense and blocked her! I don't need to read her constant bad language any more either, its not worth the stress, so just hit that block button Molly!
Bitsy love the shoes!
NPM don't you dare apologise for feeling down, your troubles are just as important to you as Nics are to her, or any of the rest of us, and they are all equally valid to ask for a bit of support for, from your friends. Something has got to give around your place. Could you maybe get someone in to clean once a week while Noah is at school, and "buy" yourself some respite time. Neither NPSD or Noah will manage with a burntout NPM. Have a free Jackie hug.
Well I am feeling a bit better today again, the pain is a lot less this morning, and I am now downgrading it to serious discomfortI am feeling much more like myself too. Washing has been done, a pot of soup is on, the boys have had cereal and when I am done we are having pancakes for Brunch. The Celtic v Rangers game is on today and OH is coming home early to watch it, so I plan on having everything finished by then, and make some popcorn. Speaking of which, we had a machine, but used it about three times and ended up carbooting it for a fiver! Waste of time and space. I use my big soup pot and its done and dusted in a few minutes. I have also been known to buy the microwave stuff too, which is OK and easy for the kids to do themselves
Have a good day everyone, hugs to those in need of one too.

Morning all.
Thank you all so much for the birthday messages yesterday - I had the most fabulous day with my dh, brunch at one of my favourite places (The Waffle House in Norwich - really lovely place) then went to see The Kings Speech which I thought was an amazing filmhome for a snooze in the bath before putting a posh frock on and out for a lovely dinner at a restaurant that has big plates and small food but it was sooo yummy!!! So not one bit of the dreaded housework!! :rotfl: My dd - bless her - did it all and there is a cake in the fridge!
So sorry to read of all the difficult times people are having, hugs to you all. Life can seem so unfair sometimesI hope today is easier.
I'm spending today with the kids having a little party :j but will have to get back on the Forth Bridge at some point....
Windy here again last night - one of our fence panels blew down on Friday night  our neighbours are lovely tho so not to much of a disaster, dh will sort it out. The greenhouse is holding up well thank goodness!
Molly41 - I love looking at photos on fb (like others have said) and I like people looking at my photos - your friend shouldn't put them on if see doesn't want others to see them....
Hope you all have a good SundayDancing on Ice later :j

Morning folks not been on for a while, I seem to have the forth bridge syndrom too. Nothing seems straight forward and everyday seems to have some kind of hurdle, but nothing compared to others on here. Hugs to you NPM, you do an amazing job and its bound to get you down at times. Hope things gets easier for you.
Have a busy day ahead, got the VAT to finish, tidy the kitchen as we had visitors for a meal last night and everything is left sitting, ironing, bakling, soup making and meal making for the rest of the week along with going fir a walk. My priorities are changing though - it used to be if I had time I will go for a walk - now its the walk will happen and something else will have to wait!
Made a lovely meal last night - three courses plus wine/drinks came in at around £25, whereas normally a meal out for four would be four times that, so a great saving and relaxed time! Going to up the ante fir the £11000 in 2011 challenge and get ebaying too this afternoon, hopefully will make a few pounds towards our summer holiday fund.
Well must move, hope you all have a good day,Every days a School day!0 -
Halight- Thank you for your comments yesterday. Thankfully it passed off relatively peacefully. Only because the police were right on top if the EDL, marched them down from the station, let them have their speeches, then herded them all back to their trains/ coaches. In the mainly Muslim part of town, they even had their own stewards out on the streets, working with the police, quashing rumours as soon as they started, and generally keeping the younger hotheads from having a fight just for the sake of it!!!
NPM- You have some good virtual friends on here. If you can't come here and have a good moan/ cry/ rant, whatever, then we wouldn't be good for much, now, would we? I really hope you get a wee break soon.
Quietish day herr. DH back to work today, so just the kids and I chilling around. Will listen to the local news to see if it is safe to go out today. Should be, and if it is, I meet up on a Sunday with some other mums n kids. Otherwise, I will be doing some baking with the kids, brownies and fairy cakes, and making a big batch of bolog sauce to use for lasagne and spag bol.
Actually did get a sort-of meal plan done the other day before my big shop, and it feels goooooood!
Have a good day y'all!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D

Im glad that there was no trouble. Your right about the young hotheads, Some of them go just to try and get a fight just for fun.
It should be safe today as id say that most if not all have gone home for will have very bad hang overs from all the drinking they would have done on the night.
Enjoy your day:j:j:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
Morning folks.
Molly - that seems very unfair of someone on FB. I don't use FB but i would imagine, as others have said, that if you put up pics, you want/ expect people to see them. Don't let it bother you.
NPM - (((hugs))) - you do so much and you are tired out. Wish I could help. Try to get as much rest as you can. Difficult though, I know. Thinking of you. You are such a good mum.
Gers - I started reading Stuart McBride after peeps on here said they read his books. Wasn't sure of the first one until half way through and am now reading my 3rd. I'm from Aberdeen (near enough) and just love reading about streets etc that I know (and used to live near Mounthooly (sp??) roundabout and had a good laugh about the name as I'd forgotten about it). Also love reading the local accent and sayings. The one I'm reading at the moment speaks of the village Hatton of Fintray where my ex BIL and family used to live and we had loads of weekends there with all the kids when they were wee. Good memories.
Rainy here today. One load of DH work shirts to do then a mixed load.
DH off to the horse racing today so no Sunday dinner planned. I'm not going as it's a busy meeting and I don't like getting crushed! I'm going to a nice book reading instead.
Dogs to walk in a mo so am off to put on some slap to make myself a bit more presentable to the world.
Take care all. (((hugs))) to those feeling unwell or down.

edto add - for some reason I only read the first page!! JackieG - really glad that you are on the mend. You have been so missed in here!
Rosie - hope you get out today. Meeting up with friends sounds a nice thing to do on a Sunday!
Poppy-dog - I used to live near Norwich (until a year or so ago) but don't know the Waffle House. Sounds yummy just by the name!0
