After 10-14 days wait got accepted for 18m card, also don't know what limit.
Have a Virgin card with 0%(Balance£7000) until August, will someone tell me how to play it.
Should I sign agreement now or wait a little while?
how long do I have to send it back?
    Any advice would be appreciated

I recently applied using Martin's link and again got accepted for the 18th Month card. Don't know credit limit but when I applied I put in well over 12,000 in balance transfers. Spoke to Cap One just to make sure they had the balance transfer correct and they did so I imagine it will be over 13,000 :rotfl: So signed the agreement!

Just waiting for the plastic to come!!!!

Ditto, but only with a BT of 7K.

Nice lady at Cap One could not confirm the limit but said the BT were going through.

Well i tried my luck with this knowing that i already had a card with them and i dont use anymore and why does it have to be a card i already had?
Well they say in a letter that they notice i have a card with them already which i thought would be there reply but they ask me if i would like to close my existing aacount and proceed with the new application or cancel my new application and keep my existing account.
Wonder if i cancel my old card they will give me the 18 months deal?
And what is involved with a new application? i applied online like most people on here and what is required after that is it a means of signing papers or what.
    Some advise would be great.
Treat everyday as your last one on earth! and one day you will be right.

If you already have a card with them which you are not using, I would assume you could chance it as it would seem you have nothing to lose? Most credit card companies I have come accross have been less accomodation ie Barclaycard, MBNA.

Also if they are asking if you want to continue with the application and close the original account there must be some difference? Or alternatively they have a fetish for giving themselves more paperwork for nothing.

My personal view is go for it as you have nothing to lose?

Yippee! Just home from work to find a new card with £7k limit for 18 months. Posted an 18 month application to them rather than applying online, only took about 2 weeks.
