I just got the 18m interest free on balance transfer link advert on my yahoo email account. I clicked the link and got the following message
"We seem to be experiencing some difficulties with our website at the moment. Please be assured that we are aware of this problem and are doing our best to fix it as quickly as possible.
If you would like to apply for a Capital One card, you can call us on 0800 952 5452 (8am - 9pm Monday to Friday, 9am - 5.30 pm Saturday and Sunday)
If you have any questions about your card account please call us on 0800 952 5150 24 hours a day.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.
To help improve our service, we may record/monitor calls to and from Capital One. "
If you give them a call saying you are applying for the 18m deal they may let you sign up.0 -
I have just tried that too!!!
They said it is by invitation only, but if you have someone else's application form, thats ok?!?! :-(0 -
If anyone is in need, I still have 3 15 month's 0% application forms.0
-
beware
they are turning lots of these 15 month and 18 months offers down and offering 6 month offers instead
They claim no such offer existsHelp enough people get what they want and you will automatically get what you want0 -
Has anyone managed to get 18 month 0% interest from Capital one yet? I have only seen people being offered 6 months instead.
Other thread here
I - and I'm sure many others - would be curious to know if anyone at all has managed to get the advertised deal."Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and it may be necessary from time to time to give a stupid or misinformed beholder a black eye" - Miss Piggy0 -
Yep, I got one from the postal application. They also sai they wouldn't charge the 2% balance transfer fee.0

Grrrr. They turned me down for the (18 month 0% BT) 'card with the interest rate I applied for' today, and offered me a 6 month 0% rate instead, with a regular APR of about 17%. Odd, because I used to have a Capital One Circle Card with a £7k limit AND I got a letter asking me to apply for the (invitation only) Platinum Amex Charge Card in the same post!
I'm going to appeal to Capital One and send them copies of my bank statements, payslips, ID, etc and see what happens. Has anyone else managed to be approved for the 15-month or 18-month deal?
Money Man Steve
P.S. By the way.. the Platinum Amex Charge Card has an annual fee of £275. I don't think I'll bother with that one...!0 -
6 months ago I got the 6 months offer. This time... I got it.
I didn't expect it at all. So maybe you should appeal, and if you loose, wait for the next one.
