I have searched every Supermarket, Newsagent and even W.H. Smith's in the Sutton area (Surrey) with no joy finding an 18 month application. Every single one was only for 9 months. Must be the area !!!

Has any kind person got a spare 18 month form they could let me have ? ;)

I have sent you a pm.

I know the direct link is currently available to get the 18 month offer but if it closes and anyone is interested I have a spare form kindly sent to me by dollywops.

I'll hang on to it and if wanted, the first person to pm me can have it.

  • Been off line for a few days - pc giving up what's left of its mortal coil - great to see so many folk are taking the opportunity to exact revenge!;)

Lopo asked a while back if folk would post "outcomes" - I got my new card quite quickly with a credit limit of £14.5k - feel a bit of a twit :o because with all the "oh-oh - will it be low credit limits because of the demand" type stuff , and the fact that I'm still a newbie to this "work them against themselves" activity, I only applied for a balance transfer to pay off my egg-sisting (geddit?) credit card balance, which was coming to the end of its interest free period. I'm a bit unsure how best to use the new card to my advantage as there is over £5 k "spare". Any bright ideas folks? Clearly I'd prefer not to pay any "transfer fees" as I'm on more of a "Raith Rovers" budget than a Chelsea one.

If I find any more forms I'll advertise them here.

    Cheers!

If Cap 1 aren't charging you for BTs you could transfer the spare £5K to Egg, putting your Egg card in credit, and then BT this to your bank account.

Got my card today, but disappointed to have only a £8,000 limit. I have 3 other cards with a £15k limit, so £8k is a bit low, but maybe it was the fact I had 3 other cards that put them off.

It should be with ya soon, I posted 'em all out the day before yesterday. It annoyed me to see them being sold on e bay (I know I know folks can sell what they like) but I wanted to help out on this site as I've had so much help from it. Mind you the prices had all dropped when I last checked.

    Hi

If anybody has a spare 18 month Capital One form I would be very appreciative of it. Have looked in lots of Zest mags and only found the 9 month. Would be quite happy to refund any postage, or collect if in the Mids/North West.

    Many Thanks
